Because a lot of people have a lot of emotional weight invested in the idea that we're "special" and "different" when compared to other animals. The idea that we're really just the same, but with an aggressively min-maxed build, makes them feel really uneasy.

blame organized religions (note: NOT all faiths, there's a big difference between the two) for that - our ancestors were much better and knew that animals and humans were linked, then some dicks came along and were all "but humans are special, only humans have souls" - those same folk wiped out anyone who didn't agree and thus the ancient knowledge was lost.. now attitudes are starting to return to the way of our ancestors but the damage is done and many humans are still infected with the way of the dicks (aka: "we're the only ones that matter")

I love watching these 2. ❤😊 our boy passed away on August 3rd and he was so much like Key. He was Key minus the barrel rolls. He and I used to watch vids of Key and Sherpa every day. I swear he would have pounced on the remote to turn them on himself if he knew how to operate RU-vid. Thank you for sharing Jodi. It gives me so many happy memories of Chinook.

I have a friend that is fighting for their life in the hospital right now they have a dog we're really good buddies and when I come over the house to pick her up and let her know we're going to go take a hike and go visit she gets so excited just like this so great to see any being so happy and excited this dog is also fighting cancer so I'm doing what I can to step in as a friend not only to the owner but to the dog themselves I did do a little video yesterday if anybody's interested this is the things that we should do for each other thank you for this video

At your age already depression and an anxiety disorder? OMG ... what's wrong with the western world? You should be happy to do something with good friends. Hey ... you only have this one life and this one youth. You can not waste that on depression and anxiety. Do you have a dog? If not, get one. And if that does not work, take over a sponsorship for a dog from animal welfare. With a dog, you can learn to trust again, in yourself and in others. Such an animal will always stand by you and never disappoint you. This advice is given to you by an old man who had English Bull Terrier at his side all his life.
