My pregnancy hormones may have contributed to my emotional reaction but Jackson is just so empathic. He reminds me of my oldest son. Calvin's reaction was exactly like my second son's reaction to baby number 4's announcement lol. My daughter is only 2 and doesn't really understand yet. I literally jumped with joy when I saw the Instagram announcement. I'm so excited to be pregnant with you especially this time around, this is our rainbow baby too. Prayers for your family! Jackson has such a tender heart, that moment with him and Ellie was so sweet. My daughter has 4 boys and I know she absolutely loves them all. It is pretty maddening when people ask if she’s going to try again for a girl. She was trying for a healthy baby and that’s what she got. God blesses us with what’s right for us.

The “passing out” reactions were so funny. Ellie and Jared, you’re doing amazing raising these boys! They are so tender, caring, and little sponges soaking in all the knowledge and information you share with them.

I just wanted to say how beautiful and precious your boys are. They remind me so much of my own son, who's the same age as Jackson. When he said "hopefully this one doesn't die" I teared up and shared this video with my boy because he said the exact same thing when we told him I was pregnant with #4 after a miscarriage. We lost that baby too unfortunately but please know Jackson being honest in this video helped my son see another boy in another family going through the same thing he had. As much as we talk about the times we win in this life it's equally as important to talk about our losses too. We need to show our kids how to grieve well so they can really embrace the good times. Wow I just put two and two together, our babies had/have the same due date of Jan. 18th ❤️

I started crying when Jackson said he hoped the baby didn’t die! My mom had a miscarriage when I was around 7 or 8 and I have vivid memories of how sad she was and how sad I was. I remember her having surgery and being so worried. Praying peace and health for all you! Grow baby grow!!!
