Hi Alexa, i have a question. I was leaving the gym today and i walked past 3 french speaking young ladies and suddenly the context of their conversation changed and i heard one if them playfully say, un deux trois…. What does that mean colloquially? If anything at all? Thanks

From my understanding of the french language, they want or more accurately NEED you to speak a sentence in reply to their sentence. For those of us who only want to give and receive exact answers only, this language is painful. To me, french is like birds chirping or two people singing to each other while I think and speak like a machine.
