A lot of people don't realize the amount of vocal control and practice to do metal screams. This guy was very very good and pitch control was on point, also doing various types of screams, low register, high register, screeches and squeels. VERY difficult to do. Well done
Not really, the first squeel he was inhaling and that's not good at all, not to mention the fry screams he did... he needs a little bit more practice tbh. Some of the low glutterals were good but he still needs practice. And yes it is very hard and confusing learning how to scream and you gotta be careful asf he's getting there tho💀
What...no lol...it was all over the place since he was doing inhale screams. The first pig squeal is a clear example. I'm not sure about his highs, they sounded a bit more proper (Technique wise, enjoyment wise it's up to the individual to decide) but his lows sounded like inhales as well. I started out by trying inhales until I learnt how to do exhales, and in my opinion it sounds better and in fact it doesnt hurt the vocal chords like inhales do, proper exhale technique does not hurt your vocal chords. If he keeps doing this the way he does he wont be able to talk with his normal speaking voice before long. And besides, it's not difficult to do inhales, it's literally inhaling air while clenching your throat. But still, it's awesome to see some old school deathcore on one of these shows!
It’s true that people vastly underestimate the technical demands of extreme vocals. That said, this guy’s technique was really not that great. His high fry-scream sounded good, but the rest were mostly inhales which not only don’t sound as good, but they will also have negative affects on his voice in the long run. Still awesome that he even did something like this tho
No he wasn't. He has horrible technique and was cupping the mic also inhaling. Your voice shouldn't crack and putting your hands around the microphone makes it sound fuller than what it is.
If this was an American audience and audition it'd be an immediate red buzzer. Fucking close minded people now a days. Great job dude. Keep Deathcore alive.
It takes a lot of skill and proper technique. That said, this guy sounded bad. Inhaling extreme vocals vs exhaling does so much damage and sounds worse. Not to mention voice cracking and "cupping" the mic
@FlashyMcMuffin As someone who does vocals myself, I'll say I mostly agree with you, although his lows sounded very very deep and full. His cupping technique is perfect, I personally don't know how to cup properly so I can't even if I wanted to. Also I respect him not for his vocals but for his balls going on this show.
I think you should have like 2 old metal singers like Ozzy and Rob Halford and 2 modern ones like Randy Blythe and Muhammad Suicez or George Fisher. Something of that caliber.

Очень понравился гроул в исполнении Alex Koehler. Никогда не думала, что могут быть мурашки по коже от низкого регистра голоса при пении гроула. Просто уоооу... И, да, тоже пересматриваю это слепое прослушивание Телмууна уже, наверное, в 10-ый раз 😅 Кстати, смотрели слепые прослушивания Stefanie Stüber в voice of Germany? Тоже - красота!
@@DxtEppieDoe He is inhale screaming. That's actually how you destroy your voice. Exhale screams aren't super hard once you figure out how to do them and they sound a million times better.

i've watched this a 100 times and it always gives me chills... He literally brought metal to this masses... big shoutout to the judges for their headbangs :D .. and the reaction of shock from the rest.. .even if he wouldn't have been selected here, he prolly didnt care.. he would've be satisficed of what he did on a global stage :) ... I sometimes like this live version alot than the other ones.. even the original :D
So truly amazed by his singing and like it. But the lyrics of the song is quite scary and turns out this unique way of singing makes sense after knowing the meaning of the song. Good luck!
cant help but notice the really funny pause before he starts, and how his face is completely neutral as he starts with the strongest squeal ever... so good
@@jaybarbieri8619 idk why but i actually kinda liked how he seems like mixing high screams with mongolian throat singing. He should actually work on that, i wouldn't really dislike a technique like this
His screaming is ok , it looks kinda like he doesnt know what he's doing, which is fine seeing that a good 90 percent of us barely know what we're doing half the time but he needs to work on his lows imo
