‘Telusa Manasa’ is one of the greatest romantic tracks of Telugu composed by the Legend M M Keeravani alias Maragathamani and written by Sirivennala Seetharama Sastry. This timeless Bilingual song conceptualized by Director Mahesh Bhatt performed by Akkineni Nagarjuna, Manisha Koirala and Ramya Krishnan was blessed to have the Vocal finesse of Legends SP Balasubrahmanyam and KS Chitra.
We had done a version of the Hindi melody of the same composition ‘Tumile Dilkhile’ a year ago, which was received with so much of Love. I had done a small Antara of Telusa Manasa towards the end of the track; listening to which many of the Music Lovers and admirers of the beautiful language Telugu (Described as ‘Sundara Telugu’ by scholars) had requested me for a full version of the track.
So here we present a humble interpretation of the Classic as a tribute to the Legend SP Balasubrahmanyam, whose voice can't be bettered by any creation in the Universe.
