@@anetajohnson8446 I like the squared tip when it opens out and the dry brush effect he achieves, seen a few artists using these but can't find them online.
These are Chinese brushes. These could be different depends on needs. Best thing is that the bristles are not cut to keep and organize the form but all are same length and from one side thick from end very thin. Thus tip of the brush is always sharp and if spread look like one length cut. I know for sure you can get them from Chinese art supply shops. For example , Blue Heron Arts by famous you tuber Henry Li. Or eBay. I got mines from ebay and local shops.
