This song is a Mizo translation of MacLeod Wylie's Precious Blood. It has been one of the most sung hymns of the Mizo Christians for many generations and found its place at hymn number 57 of Kristian Hla Bu (Christian Hymn Book) used by the Mizoram Presbyterian Church and the Baptist Church of Mizoram.
