The amazing display of Temminck's tragopan (Tragopan temminckii) with extended lappet and horns up. I used two cameras to cut back and forth between the display which always happens from behind cover so that the displaying male always 2pops up" to the nearby female.

Hi, "Temmincks" is the name of the pheasant, the Genus that this pheasant belongs to is "Tragopans", there are 5 Tragopans, "Western Tragopan" in Pakistan/India, Temmincks Tragopan India-China, Blyth's Tragopan India-Bhutan, Satyr Tragopan India-Bhutan and Cabot's tragopan in China. All are named after Western people so there will be locally common names for these birds. These are the names that the bird is referred to Scientifically Internationally
