Cannot get Shadow details under MQTT . just says "Use topics to enable applications and things to get, update, or delete the state information for a Thing (Thing Shadow) Learn more"
Hi... can anyone help me urgently? I am following the thing creation, but under thing > interact > MQTT it is not showing me anything hich I can copy-paste in the .ino file under the MQTT Topic... don't know why is is now showing. In the video, it says, its connected... even I have not created a shadow or whatever... please help.
Hello sir, really great video, but I would like to take this a little further and I am trying to figure out how can I plot the graph of temperature and humidity data on AWS, I gone through some documentations from which I come to know that first I need to give access AWS S3 to this live data so that it can store it and then I have to use AWS Quicksight, but I am not exactly able to figure out how can I give S3 access to this data. If you can help me with this, it will be great? Btw I am using Nodemcu esp8266 with DHT11
great tutorial, thank you very much! maybe I am the only one, but the background music is very (a lot) annoying to me, background noise/silence is much better in my opinion anyway, until you make tutorial as good as this one I can stand the music :)
Thank You. Very nice explanation. Can you please create video on downloading data from AWS as well. Also, please explain how AWS charges to upload data on its server.
Hi Sir,. I have a question when I create things on aws iot and click on interact tab, I just got only HTTPs link, the MQTT is empty. Please let me know how step by step how can create MQTT link.Appreciate a lot for this.
Thanks a lot for the video. But sir I am getting a glitch in the data published to aws. How to resolve it?...like some part of the string is replaced by some symbols and how can I export this data to csv?
Thank you. I have a question. How can we collect the this data from aws iot and how can we analysis that and show(visualize ) ? If you reply thank you again.
There are some tolls like DynamoDB, S3 bucket where you can store this data in the data base for long time. I have made a video on how to store data in DynamoDB you can follow it for reference. You can retrieve the same data from there, and visualise in the html page and peroform analytics.
So I watched your other 2 videos where you connect the ESP8266 nodemcu 12-E to AWS IoT and then to DynamoDB. I was successful in doing so and I thank you for the tutorial. However, I began watching this video because my next steps and overall goal is to connect my nodemcu to an arduino mega which is going to read sensors and through the nodemcu it will post the data to AWS IoT and Dynamo DB. My question is, with this goal in mind do I keep the code I made from your other two videos or would I need to restructure it to look like the code you have for this tutorial? The other code involved converting the .pem files to .der and then connecting to the AWS topic via MQTT. In this code however, you change the files to contain all of those /n/ and the way that you publish the data within the code appears to be different. Are you able to provide any guidance here? I apologize if it is confusing to interpret all that I am asking. It was hard to put into words what I'm trying to say.
Im getting the following error : In file included from C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\libraries\AWS_IOT\src etwork_interface.h:35:0, from C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\libraries\AWS_IOT\src\aws_iot_mqtt_client.h:57, from C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\libraries\AWS_IOT\src\AWS_IOT.cpp:39: C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\libraries\AWS_IOT\src etwork_platform.h:20:28: fatal error: mbedtls/config.h: No such file or directory #include "mbedtls/config.h" Do you have any idea how to fix it?
Sir your teaching method is very interesting and simple, which is helpful for beginners. I have a question when I create things on aws iot and click on interact tab, I just got only HTTPs link, the MQTT is empty. Please let me know how I can create MqTt link
Hello Sir. Very Nice Video and we can easily understand. I suffering from one problem, at 12:48 you are showing step to copy link "Update to this thing shadow" but it is not showing in my case. So what can do?
Bro.. Please reply..... In thinsgpeak i get a min of 1 sec delay..so i get only descrete data at 1 sec interval. What is the smallest delay between consecutive updates in aws. Can i transmit live analog continuous signal in aws.... Please help..... Thanks in advance
Thank you for the video ,friend! I need to present a project this friday , together with a app i have to present this configuration. I ordered the same products as in this video ,can you please tell me if there is something else i need to know about this ?
check out my official website here for code- electronicsinnovation.com/temperature-data-record-on-aws-iot-core-with-nodemcu-esp32-using-arduino-ide-and-mqtt-protocol/ Thank you
Sir I am working on a project where I want to compare two devices datia in real time and generating a notification if values match and when values does not match. How can I compare two devices or more devices data (Summation) and comapre it to only one device? Please guide me.
In this project, I have shown you how to post the data to the AWS. but I didn't show how to store that data in aws database. According to your requirement, you have to store the data of multiple devices in the database. once the data is stored in the database you can do the data manipulation or comparison. so try to find that. in my next project, I am going to show this thank you.
I watched your video about ESP8266, seems the way to do the certificate is different from ESP32, which do not require to convert to .der file. what is the difference? I only have a ESP32 and don't have DHT11 and I want to setup a quick test enviornment for aws iot.
First of all thanks for informative video. I need a small help from you. Can you please add video or code link where I can receive string on ESP32 sent from AWS thing. Can you please help me in that?
The same code will work, change "intopic" to the topic you are publishing to. If you need more details reach us "askus.electronicsinnovation@gmail.com"
Hi, can anyone help me urgently? I am following the thing creation, and after the thing, I click on the DHT11, but it is not showing me the interact option.
May I add something. Below changes is made to confirm with JSON format which is then can be added into AWS DynamoDB sprintf(payload,"{\"Humidity\": \"%.2f\", \" Temperature\": \"%.2f\"}",h,t); // Create the payload for publishing
this is 1 year old, amazon is updating their sdk so fast that running things keep breaking, same steps don't work now. It happened to me using other amazon sdk also.
You showed how to do things But the que arises is that why small things you did are important. Like adding/n/ and adding * and why you didn't select the thing type. Can you please explain
I think no, This code will not work Arduino nano 33 Ble board, because all the libraries and code developed for ESP32 board, To get the same thing done on Arduino nano33 we need build the code from scratch.
sir we are providing one ssid in program .To access aws iot we should connect with the same ssid so I was asking that i will program one ssid and for accessing aws iot i will use different iot is it possible
As shown in the refer video 6:40 I have pasted the link in AWS_HOST but, I have doubt in what I have to paste in MQTT_TOPIC ..I have not get any links in my MQTT as shown in this video..
@@electronicsinnovation Thank you, I would like to make a request would you please make a video How to use ADXL345 accelerometer (acceleration measurement) with esp32 and AWS. (ASAP) You are doing a great job keep it up and this video was really helpful!
Also i received below error In file included from C:\Users\My Asus\OneDrive\Documents\Arduino\libraries\AWS_IOT\src etwork_interface.h:35:0, from C:\Users\My Asus\OneDrive\Documents\Arduino\libraries\AWS_IOT\src\aws_iot_mqtt_client.h:57, from C:\Users\My Asus\OneDrive\Documents\Arduino\libraries\AWS_IOT\src\AWS_IOT.cpp:39: C:\Users\My Asus\OneDrive\Documents\Arduino\libraries\AWS_IOT\src etwork_platform.h:20:28: fatal error: mbedtls/config.h: No such file or directory #include "mbedtls/config.h" ^ compilation terminated. exit status 1 Error compiling for board NodeMCU 1.0 (ESP-12E Module).
