I’m glad these still are helpful to someone. I haven’t had the time or energy to focus much on the tempest for a few years to be honest. I’m so happy it’s still of some value.
@@TundrahSounds I don’t own a tempest, but I was wondering if the tempest was a “midi workstation” like, I can make many ideas for a lot of the song duration with the tempest, BUT, not make it obvious I was using a tempest by “midi channel 1 2 3 and 4” be a digital synth or a digital module. Idk if that makes sense!
Shortcuts: 0:59 - listening to the beat we're working with 1:34 - playing the microkorg with Tempest pads 1:51 - midi connection (where to put the cable) 1:59 - midi settings menu 3:40 - choice of pad to control external synths...
Lee Holman good question! It should. But it will sequence the same sound that you’re playing. And the microkorg is only four voices. So you will have some voice stealing from whatever you’re playing with your hands, I guess.
Digging your vids, man. I like how you throw a little comedy in here and there. Anyhow, couldn’t you get a chord if the sound on the microkorg you’re playing is set to polyphonic and has a longer decay... and you play for example three or four notes in a row quickly like a strum?
