These are so lovely. Usually I prefer stitched, but this time I prefer the gold edging. Simple to make, but yours are more gorgeous than I could ever do. So delicate. Have a blessed weekend. ☺♥
These are all gorgeous Cathy, love them!!! 💜💜💜 We have a church resale shop here, were all clothing is $1, so yep, agree with you, it's a great place for laces, even formal gowns are $1. I finally talked myself into buying a wedding gown, the thought in my mind that won was, well, if someone is willing to get rid of that, I should be okay with repurposing it 🤭 The applicaques dye absolutely gorgeous and I shared with my 2 journaling friends, and will be using some of it on a couple nightgowns for myself, so it all works, lol. I do paint, so one other thing I'd like to throw out there is, if you use the other end of your paint brush, dip in your paint and press onto your page, you get nice circle dots. My hands aren't the best, even after multiple surgeries, and this is an easy option, I could never make nice dots with the brush side anymore, lol. Thanks for a great tutorial, saved to my "to try before I die" file, lol.🤭
These are Gorgeous! I adore all the ones you made, but of course... With Blue being my absolute favorite color; I'm sure you can guess which one of these have "Caught My Heart!!!" LOL! I really like how the touches of Gold Paint really make everything pop!!!
These are gorgeous! I love them all, but that pink one is my favorite! I love the gold details you added with the paint, so so pretty! One small observation Cathy, the retired math & science teacher in me would like to help with the measurements on your template. I really hope you don't mind. Along the side you have marked : 2.5", 2 3/4" and 2.5"..the total length of the side is therefore 7 3/4" . So your square is 7 3/4" × 7 3/4" , not 7.5" × 7.5". Also You marked 1/2" deep on each side, but you said 1" I'm sure that was just misread. I hope this helps you and anyone else trying to make your beautiful project. tfs hugs💞
absolutely love these,but im not good at measuring things ,im confused you said 1 inch in but looks like it has 1/2 in the box ,i have tried to do it but its coming out wrong lol please help on this Thanks a bunch
You are correct, obviously I’m not good at reading either! It is 1/2” and I said 1”. Go by the template I am showing you in the video. Stop the video and have a good look at the template I made and showing the camera. 🤦♀️💐🥰
