Been planning this build for months and finally got the last of the pedal plates today to assemble it. This is the Temple Audio Trio 28 pedalboard. I got the IEC micro module and the patch bay module to go along with it. One complaint is that to put the iec module in, you have to completely remove the side panel. Not hard or anything, just sort of annoying. Other than that, this pedalboard is pretty much flawless. The plates have super strong adhesive and it is far cleaner than velcro. They are also easy to move around. For the two noise gates, I used zip ties because I'm planning on downsizing to one ISP Decimator G string in the near future and didn't want to put the pedal plates on them. So those are temporary and will removed soon. I thought about bottom mounting my power supply, but went with a top mount because 1. I like the artwork on the walrus audio power supply, and 2. whether i mounted it on the top or bottom, it renders that space unusable on the board. Overall I am exteremely happy with this board and think it is a huge improvement and upgrade over my pedaltrain novo 24 I was using prior. Feel free to ask any questions in the comments below. Don't forget to like and subscribe! Full pedal list below:

I have a duo and I used some velcro and some plates. Made my own AC module but used their micro plates for 1/4" side connectors and one 4 jack module. Put my power supplies underneath, used a voodoo and a mooer power supply. Yeah you have to take off the side rails, no big deal. The adhesive on their plates is super hard to remove should you need to. Overnight soak in acetone will do it.

I was browsing around on Sweetwater and came across these boards. After watching a few videos I now want one. I currently have a Pedal train and think this is a way better design. I damn near hate the Pedal Train design because I hate using velcro and I also hate the bar design as it really limits placement. But this thing I can see building a completely solid personal layout with almost no limitations. Price wise they seem perfect.

Hey I liked your video and the playing a lot. Nice work. Are you using the 4 way jack patch to run some pedal through the fx loop and others through the front of the amp? And if you do that are you linking all the delay and reverb pedals to the overdrives with patch cables? I’m New to pedals and trying to understand how this works.

Around 3:45 it seems that the music is off time. The drummer and the guitar parts are off. Could be me tripping. Great video though

Came across to check about the board after your years of use. Any words?

First off, that was awesome and impressive. We're you removing the velcro from your pedals? Also, how long did this take?
@Dowdus

Great video. Question on the plates. If you decide to change up are they easy to remove from the pedals and re-use?
@andrewtaylor2190
@andrewtaylor2190 4 года назад
You would probably need a butter knife to get them off. You would then need to clean the bottom of the pedal with alcohol to get the residue off. Once you take the plate off, it’s adhesive is pretty much wasted. Temple sells replacement adhesive pads that are pretty cheap

Why put the power supply on top when it looks like there's plenty of room to have underneath?
@andrewtaylor2190
@andrewtaylor2190 6 лет назад
I considered putting it underneath, but regardless, the space the power supply resides renders it useless. You can't put any pedals on top if the power supply is underneath. You wouldn't be able to use the the pedal plates. The board does have a metal bar that runs down the board in the middle, but the walrus is too thick to fit on it. A smaller power supply would probably work though.

Haha that struggle with getting the IEC Module in without taking the end cap off. I ruined mine the first time I tried it without taking it off.

yeah that part totally confused me at first. I wish there would have been instructions on how to install it before it spent 10 minutes trying to figure it out lol

Im very curious. Is it possible carry around the Trio 28 with the soft bag or is it to heavy?
@andrewtaylor2190
@andrewtaylor2190 3 года назад
It’s pretty heavy with all of this. I have a roadcase for it, so I’ve only ever had it in the bag like once. But I remember it being pretty hefty

What are your thoughts on buffer pedals??
@andrewtaylor2190
@andrewtaylor2190 4 года назад
I don’t own any personally, but I’ve done some research into them. I would suggest if you are experiencing lack of tone from many pedals or long cable runs, go ahead and get one for the front of your chain
