Vishram Ghat is the most popular Ghat in Mathura on the bank of Yamuna River. It is believed that lord Krishna was taking rest (vishram) here at this place. There are hundreds of temples here at this place. This is a holy ghat and many people take bath here in the river. Besides the views of the ghat is very colorful. There are hundreds of colorful boats available here ready to take you for a ride. There are large number of monkeys in Vishram ghat. They will take away your shoes, bags and cameras unless you keep them in the right place.
