This event is an outright embarrassment. Hopefully it’s a wake up call for Scopely to not only properly design their game modes, but to take a step and actually play test them. But I doubt they’ll make an effort to improve.
If you start watching health to in battles in every mode you will see how they keep getting life bar back over and over and over. You can punch down over 1 million tcp and lose easily!
We need someone from scopely to speak about what is going on lately. The quality of events and the game in general has been terrible the last 2 months, bugs that have been around for months have not been fixed, each event seems to be get more and more paywalled content and whatever rewards we get are trash. Content creators are leaving and now archangel. The future is not looking good.
This game is on life support. I’m surprised Mobile is still making content. I’m surprised any of these guys are making content with probably very little reward.
If you are talking about Node 4, I got stuck there also. I kept restarting because he was eliminating my Iron Patriot with one hit. Eventually I just gave in and saw how far I would get in one attempt. Then I would revive/heal my characters and do a second attempt. Now I'm up to Node 7. Haven't started it. Waiting for the fix. I did see all this coming though. I'm a Launch Day player. So I have seen some nonsense throughout the years. When I saw G14 as minimum, my immediate reaction was "G14? Yeah Right. G17/18 it is." The only thing I failed at with preparing for this event was working on the wrong character. I heavily focused on my Namor since he is 7-red stars while the other two are 4-red stars. I was thinking that Namor could do all the work and take out all the enemies quickly so my other two would be fine. Nope. My Iron Patriot keeps getting targeted and being eliminated quickly. Even at G17 and 90+. My Namor is G17 and almost level 95. I probably should've started on Iron Patriot on who to get to 95 first. But I should've known better about the stars and get the lowered star characters up first. I've been in this situation before.
I’ve done the Darkhold node like 7 times already. The back to back strange ultimates wipe and the quicksilver ult every turn is ridiculous. Level 100, 4/5red, all T4’s and blue iso5
All 3 of my cabal are tier 18, namor 2 diamonds 591k, iron patriot 2 diamonds 632k, the leader 7 red star 523k. And I got ghosted 4 times on node 7 Temporal dimension I'm beyond upset right now smh it's garbage planning and blatant disregard for the entire community! What ever scoply is planning to hand out for compensation won't be enough to make it right....

Remembers me of those Black Panther DD nodes. You could very well make attempts where the game said you did them like some hundred k damage while in reality you just healed everybody and died.
Having already a 3 diamond on ghost spider, I feel lucky to not spend much time on this garbage event. THe beginning of the year was relatively good and they even won some good will, but the last two months events were mostly atrocious and they are back to a non trusting player base....
I'm at (minimum) 3 YS, 3 RS, GT 16, T2 Level 4 ISO on my Cabal team and I did almost 0 damage on node 4. Wild. Tigress messed me up bad. Also, can we *still* get fixed for in-game bugs? I still have the red dot bug and I'm not one of the lucky ones to have had the 100 orb opening button turned back on... Oof
I got to node 7 and tried once and then stopped. After first play I could tell the power levels on the toons don’t match up to what you actually have to play through on the node so I’m calling it a day because the rewards aren’t worth the stress. Even with dark dimension level rewards I doubt I would retry. All cabal gear 18 level 95 or higher.
I had already decided it wasn't worth the resources I'd need to spend just to get Cabal to the minimum, and the time reqs. That it got messed up even more doesn't come as a massive surprise.
I think just node 7 is dumb. But the rest seemed like a good balance between some challenge and it just being a monotonous nothing burger. It isn’t perfect but is heading in the right direction. We need something challenging enough to feel an accomplishment but not so hard as we get super frustrated. 2nd run I killed qs first attempt and a strange then came in and cleaned up.
I hope they also change node 8. Who was the idiot who decided to put multiple taunts and safeguards on a huge hulk so the player gets to beat against hulk and hope that black cat doesn’t trauma someone who then gets huge numbers of bleeds and dies.
My math for the 20$ gold offer was around 20mill gold but that's saying every 5-6 gold orbs gives you a mill which sometimes will be a little less but also chances for 1 mill and 2 mill orbs so I don't know I think it's worth it but I'm not buying it just cus I'm not much of a spender 🤷 but if I had the extra cash I prolli would
If this was a bug that helped the players they would have taken it down immediately. If it benefits the company, “ thanks for your patience while we resolve.” Just seems like empty words consistently.
I agree. The rewards for the temporal dimension are pretty terrible. Scopely just keep moving more good rewards into pay to win sections and lock us out of content also in other game moces, it really sucks the fun out of it.
At least you were smart enough to not fall for the G14 stuff. A lot of players complaining thought that the event would be fine at G14 and they wouldn't have to get Cabal higher than that. But if you are a longtime player like me (I've been playing since Launch Day), then you would know that the G14 wouldn't be good enough. So you were smart enough to not listen to the developers on the G14 stuff.
This event is not a surprise. It is not a mistake. They make things awful to see how many they can push to spend. Oh, they know there'll be complaints, so they tune it back and hand out 'compensation', but they already made money.
I think calling it a disaster is a bit dramatic. I was able to get through day 1 with only double tapping nodes 7 and 10 with a 5 star leader and 5 star IP
I managed to get through it but with two G19s and one G18. I cannot imagine anyone getting through it with G17 or less. Definitely garbage, especially given the description of being tuned for G15. 🙄
The absolute worst bit about this whole thing is it's ment to be a game, which are ment to be fun and reward progressing forward in skill, learning and "gitting gud" but here we getting pants pulled down by greedy Devs, I've been on this game a damn long time and still enjoy it but this new pocket dimension is BURNING HOT GARBAGE

Not even worth the headache cuz the rewards are absolute trash …..the darkhold node got me 2 ….i got there full health all 5 toons and get smashed every time …..i just quit ….straight trash ….quicksilver goes repeatedly till he kills everyone
The event is trash, why would they waste their time putting it out? Oh wait it's Scopley. I've had some clan mates quitting because this was just the straw.
Mobile my team is even bigger then yours and I literally and locked in node 7 it’s so negative progress that I can’t even put into words my absolute anger

The last couple you could do one run in a couple hours, wait 24 hours, and then the second run. After that you would be done with the event unless you want to theory craft and try out different combination of characters/teams (previous Pocket Dimensions had a little more selection for each node). I'm an 100% free to play player and was able to complete a run on previous Pocket Dimensions in about an hour or two. The only cooldowns I had to wait on was the 24 hour wait between the first and second run. So I can see the frustration, although at the same time the developers did warn that this would be a harder/more challenging Pocket Dimension.
Did you play it? On node 7 you are just a standing stick that takes a beating. Quicksilver ults every turn and dark hold has millions of barrier. There is zero progress to be made at g18.

Everyone wants something for nothing these days. Everyone wants to be able to full clear ever event no matter what their level is. No one wants to be challenged, but they want great rewards for their time spent. A tale as old as time.
