Director at the studio Turner.Works, Carl Turner, argues that all buildings should be temporary.
The interview takes place at Hackney Bridge, designed by Turner.Works, which is a meanwhile project with workspaces, an event space, a food hall, and much more located in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London. In this video, Carl Turner describes the ideas behind the temporary building, microplanning, and what happens when you focus more on what people need and how they can interact with spaces and buildings, rather than just focusing on the way the buildings look like.
