Temporary swelling/ seroma after FTM double incision top surgery with Dr Mckee 

Some patients may experience temporary chest swelling after top surgery that causes a gurgling sound when palpated. Swelling dissipates with time. The compression binder is worn for around 1 month from time of surgery in order to minimize swelling. Temporary small “seromas” occur after top surgery in ~10% of patients. They are asymptomatic. They dissipate within 1 month.
