Just got a pro adapt hybrid, and can't wait to go to bed tonight! I am amazed at how long you can talk without stuttering, or ah-ing, or um-ing. If no one's told you, it's impressive. Smooth talking lady. The only other person I can think of offhand who speaks so smoothly is Charles Stanly. Good job.

Mattress firm has holiday discounts on Tempurpedic products and they offer 0% interest for 48 months. It comes out to about 80.00 a month depending on what size mattress you get. $20 a week for great sleep. 3.00 a night, .50 per hour. lol

Great Review. You explained it all better then the sales rep at the mattress store. I bought the Luxebreeze firm mattress last week. But it is too hard for my preference, so I'm going to exchange it for the soft Luxebreeze. That is a really great option that they offer. It saved me a lot of $$. And so far I really like Tempur-pedic. Great company to work with and great products to sleep on. A+

I got a medium-firm from a decade ago. That thing is still going strong and does wonders for my much needed spine. It was hard as hell upon pick up, but after about a 6mo-1yr is when it really started to break in really well and now, 10 years later, I wouldn't trade it for anything!! I have a bad back and this bed helps out so much! Bite the bullet, get it on their 48 month 0% APR purchase, and on sale, it is worth it. Every guest I've had who's slept on it was like wow, this mattress is so comfy. I'll probably get a new one within a couple years. Just here seeing what is new.

My first temper, that I still have is 19 years old. Upgraded to king lux breeze soft.First night slept 7.5 hours. IMPO temper is the best mattress on the market. Great review.

I've made the mistake of buying a $3,000 tempurpedic mattress. The first week of sleeping on the mattress i suffered from lower back pain & sciatica. My back can't take anymore pain from this temperpedic nightmare. I just ordered a beautyrest bed. I'll try to return the temperpedic. Hopefully they take it back.

I would have to go with the most basic option simply because of price. But I like that they offer a hybrid in the Temper-Adapt class and that it's a medium firmness. I'd like to try the feel of the firm all foam option in the Adapt class too but I think the coils in the hybrid would help with durability.

I sell mattresses for a living. The LuxAdapt Soft and Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid are my two favorites. The APR+ is the kicker for me so I choose the Lux Adapt soft for me and my wife.The matt coupled with the Ergo Extend ADJ Base with the perfect seat. Fantastic set up! After so many rave reviews I decided to try a temper proadapt hybrid medium. Since I have a bad back a lot said this will help. I have to say it has been very bad for me. I weigh 215 and only my hips sink and feel like I “bottom out” onto the springs leaving me in a V shape while on my back. My back hurts my neck hurts and my shoulder hurts while sleeping on this bed. Have to say memory foam beds must not be for me.

I have a TP Pro Adapt Med Hyb. and i love it so much. Going from 5 years on an air mattress, to a TP & adjustable base, it's literally like night and day!!! (^_^) Financed it for 0% interest at less than $80/month, thats less than my internet costs!!

TempurPedic make some very nice beds but waaay too expensive for me to even consider. Thats a shame because i really love the feel of memory foam beds. If money wasn’t the issue, i would get the Tempur-Breeze in soft firmness. I’m a side sleeper that sleeps hot and the Tempur-Breeze would be a good choice. The Tempur-Adapt would be a good choice if it came in a soft version

Thanks for the information. I've always steered away from TEMPUR-Pedic given their prices--they always seemed out of my range. It seems like they have adapted their lineup quite a bit recently, likely to compete with all of the other online direct to consumer mattresses out there. Also, what is unique about the tempur material that is different from other memory foams?

Hello. You say that the support on the Adapt luxe is 30% more. The 30% compared to what? Is it compared to the original Tempur material or 30% more than the Proadapt series or what exactly is that 30% more?

I just returned a Tempur Adapt Medium after close to 100 night on it. It felt great getting onto it. Let say my first hour on it was awesome. But every morning I'd wake up feeling sore, same as when you fall asleep in a hammoc. Tempur has really poor support. In fact so poor that they use the support layer has the comfort layer on the Pro Adapt medium. If you want the confort feeling but decent support, get a good coil matress (tampered steel coils) and get a Tempur Topper Supreme. You'll save a lot.

Folks, I really need some constructive advice. My wife and I purchased a King Luxebreeze SOFT several months back. We live in Canada, so we had to throw a lot cash at this bed thinking that the pay-off would be a great bed and rest. Not so, not even close! We HATE this bed - I do not use the word HATE lightly. We wake up with back, arm, leg, and head discomfort. This was not the case with our previous coil mattress. The mattress is supposed to be soft, but we find it exceptionally hard - nothing like the display demo at the store. We decided that the mattress required a 'break-in' period, but that has been 7 months - the only that that's broken is my back, neck, legs, arms, etc. We have had enough, its time to get back to a good night sleep... Here is where I would really appreciate your constructive advice: 1) Is this a way to 'soften' or 'break-in' the mattress, irrespective of time, or salvage the mattress by any means. Or, 2) Should we just toss in the bin and be done with it? Before you ask, no we cannot return it. That is a longer story. Thank you in advance. I greatly appreciate your advise and suggestions. I really, really need sleep...

When I hear the name 'Tempurpedic', I think of a high price. And it is and I bet it's worth it. I've laid on a few in the store. But there are also so many great online direct-to-consumers mattress companies now that offer some decade or two long warranties that it just doesn't quite seem worth it to me. I slept on a GhostBed recently and thought, 'Wow, that was nice'.

I have a tempurpedic from 2014 and it started off amazing but now I find my arm shoulder gets numb from sleeping on my side. I toss and turn a lot normally so I’m interested to see if I need a different brand or more soft.

What do you mean you are unable to find out how thick each layer is? Get a knife and open up the mattress and measure the layers! If you can afford to give away one free mattress each month you can afford to cut a few open.

Actually with my bad back Tempur-pedic mattresses do not provide enough support for my bad back and the material still runs too hot and to soft for my needs. Also, with all the new mattresses out there Tempur-pedic are priced on a par with Beautyrest Black which is definitely the HIGH END of the market. To me it is ridiculous to pay almost $5000 for any mattress.

ive been waiting forever for you to do this review. my dream bed is the luxe breeze soft bed king size adjustable bed. I already have 4 temper pedic pillows i just finished getting. im disabled and on a horrible flat thin rv bed on top of a piece of wood. its killing me :(. im on ssi disabilty though so being able to afford it will not happen. i need a real miracle :(.

We just purchased the Luxe Adapt soft along with Ergo 2.0 base. It was a total of $6000 and they included 2 pillows and a mattress cover. To me, it's worth every penny. Took all the pressure off my back and hips and this was the 1st time I've awoke with absolutely NO pain in years.

Quick update on this comment of mine. I actually did end up buying the pro adapt in soft firmness and I love it! I got it for $1700 at mattress firm used. Their used mattresses are from people that take advantage of their money back guarantee. When I got the mattress it was like new. No stains, no signs of wear and tear, it was like a new mattress for half the price. I washed the mattress cover, added a new mattress protector and it was ready for use. Best purchase I ever made on credit 😂

Could you provide me more info between Luxe-adapt soft and firm ? I bough the lux adapt soft I’m 5.4” 125 pounds and even though is great I feel I sink too much and I’m not sure is exactly what I want because I get spine pain ( shoulders and middle upper back) and I feel the lower back and abdominal area sinks too much, I found myself setting up many pillows all over to be able to sleep comfortable. I though I should need to be doing that if I invested in this mattress so I don’t know if the form luxe-adapt will help, and I have 3 more days to request a change to the form and I read the form won’t give as much as relief for pressure points for someone with my weight but I am not 100% sure of that. I’ll like to better understand what’s my best option. Thanks

If I could afford these mattresses I would get the Pro Adapt or the Luxe cuz I want to sleep cooler at night. I need pressure relief for my shoulders cuz I start on my side. However, I will roll to my stomach at some point, so I would want something like a medium firmness.

I hate this mattress!!!! Got the softest one and had it a few months and it’s just a $5,000 brick I lay on and don’t even get me started on customer service. Tried everything to break it in which was a job itself. Imagine walking on this mattress to attempt to get it as soft as the one in the store. I’m in good shape and it’s a workout.

I just got a Tempurpedic Medium Adapt.....i was looking for a fiberglass free mattress after reading so many horror stories about Zinus and i was thinking or hoping since this was such an expensive mattress there would be no fiber glass.....i was shocked to find fiberglass content there...so if you're looking for a fiberglass mattress this isnt the one !!

Terrible chemical offgassing caused me terrible headaches - my pyjamas and bedlinen smelled of the chemicals too (we had windows wide open). Tempur will not take back. Expensive mattress was a write off for me. These things are literally drenched in flame retardants which are VOCs. Really, really bad for you.

Don't feel bad. I bought one And it sucks. Caved in within 3 months. And their warranty is literally useless as they wont exchange or refund for it. 3k down the drain as the bed is impossible to sleep on without waking in excruciating back pain

@@ronmexico1975 ok. Before i bought it I was able to test it out. It was winter when i bought it. It was chilly in mattress store. Hold on to that statement. In the store i got to test the mattress and lay down on it for about 10 minutes. It felt great and firm enough to support my weight. Im 6'2 200lb. So i bought it. Well after a few months of owning the mattress winter ended and hot summer weather moved in. The weather changed the characteristics of the foam in the mattress. Once it became summer, the center of the mattress began to cave in with me laying on it. So my body where my hips are located would sink in the mattress about 5 or 6 inches deep. And the rest of my body wouldn't sink in the mattress at all except for my hips. After a week of sleeping in that awkward position that the temperpedic would put me in, i would wake up with soaring lower back pain to the point where i had difficulty walking. And im not exaggerating. So after a few months of owning the mattress i contacted temperpedic and told them about this. Well they didn't care because they want pictures of a damaged mattress without anyone laying down on it. So the pictures have to show the indent. Well the bed only severely sinks in the center when i lay down on it, so they told me that issue isn't covered under the warranty. So i bit the bullet and took a 3 thousand dollar loss because there's nothing i can do. The bed is just sitting in the basement. I won't even let guests sleep on it because I'd feel guilty for any back pain they may suffer from it. After i put it in the basement, i stayed away from all foam mattresses, and my current spring loaded mattress has my back feeling great. It's too bad they didn't warn me that the foam they use losses firmness in warm weather. I would have never bought it in the first place and still had my money that i bleed for at work.

johnny eas Damn that’s pretty shitty. I just bought one today and it should be here in two weeks. However I got a hybrid that has the microcoils as well as the foam. I’m about 230 pounds.
