The album is the best album this year so far. The vocal clarity, strength and message is absolutely phenomenal. Everything merged perfectly and you can hear and feel her and the instruments. It should be the talk of the moment right now

It’s one of the best albums period. It’s definitely in the top 10 albums released by a woman. I would put this album there with ANTI by Rihanna, Lemonade by Beyonce, CRTL by SZA ect

Waje, falz and arya Starr dropped albums same as tems. I made a mistake listening to tems' album first. I say ehhh, after that all others u listened to sounded like gibberish French language. They sound like rubbish. Tems set the bar high on this album begggg. For quality music listeners though.

@@nokeeosa619 Tems is a mature artist. She properly composers, writes and produces music following a mature structure. All those other artists you mentioned make songs for the radio and tiktok plays. They are nowhere near the level of maturity Tems is at. Most of their songs don’t even use real instruments in its recording. They just get a produces to make a beat and then they sing over it

I think album reviews should come atleast a week after - immediate reaction 1 - 3 days after release - album review - 1 - 2 weeks after release - album performance review - 1 - 2 months after release

Nice review, but 1 thing i am sure of from this album is Grammy nomination in 1 of the big 4 (my guts tells me album of d year nomination) & of course she will pick noms in RnB categories as well. I am sure of this, 100 percent sure

That's the truth. Tems is alternative. She's isn't your regular Nigerian genre. You need to listen to this album several times to digest it. It's a Soul genre album. 😊
