I still think this game should have an offline single player mode. Especially since those servers will NOT be up forever. It would be understandable if they added expansions and new content, but they are not. No costumes and other cosmetics don't count. There is a reason many just dropped this game. It lacked support and staying power. If they don't fix it then this practically becomes unplayable lost media.
It's getting offline eventually. The CEO of the company said the servers are cheap so they'll stay online for however long they can but if something ever happened and the servers became unaffordable they'd put single player into the game to keep it playable forever.
The mmo aspects really hurt me from buying this game. Its just feels too much like a single player game forced being a live service. Now i don't have a problem with live service games, but it irks me to know that i can loose all my creatures because there wasn't enough money spend to keep the servers running. I would defiently buy a copy if it meant its not online only anymore though
I feel that TemTem screwed up by transitioning this game into a live service like type of game. I also find that the level designs being the same and the artstyle felt ineffective and kind of weak. I think TemTem had the right idea (except live service) but they didn't had the right deliver.
