Hullo Zoe, I have made a couple of purchases from TEMU and I have that exact palette too! No I don’t have any paint in it yet! I have enjoyed several of the Baohong watercolor blocks! They are 100% cotton and quite a deal IF YOU wait for a discount code to come in your e-mail and reduce the price from over $20.00 to $11.99! The “regular” prices are fair but not as great as a discount price for subscribing to their e-mail’s! I got a 20 sheet 9x12 block for $13.99! Great price for 100% cotton paper! I was not as happy with the brushes I got but it just shows that sometimes you have to pay for quality!

I have that mechanical pencil!! It’s soo good 😄 it was a shame about the metallic watercolours , love the swirly pencils hehe and the sketchbook is cute! ❤

It’s a great pencil! I’m so happy with it!! I gave Drusilla the rainbow pencils and the sketchbook, I have used it but I have so many! She’s drawn spiders in it 🤣

The star buy there was definitely the mechanical pencil, it looked good but I was wondering what the graphite would be like, and it went down smoothly. I was devastated with the purple, but it did look better on the black card. If you ever do another of these videos, try some Indian ink and a dip pen 😃 great video though Zoe 👏

I was expecting to need to buy new leads for that pencil, that they would be scratchy but no they were great! A definitely agree that the pencil is the star buy, the paint brushes were great as well. To be honest i was really happy with everything except the pencils and the paints!! I have a dip pen set 😌

I was surprised that most of the supplies were good. The corner cutter and the hole punch aren't things I'd have much use for but they worked great. I bought some gloves similar to the one you have for my iPad, the side of my hand would cause friction against the screen and they work great to stop that

Oh more goodies, I ordered again, still waiting for it. Its quite good for little crafty bits. I love that little palette, quality.

The paints are hand made I bought them on amazon for £8 they are lovely but you have to leave them for a few minutes with the water on. They are chameleon colours, better when dry. Just found you and have subscribed

Oh I have those Chinese calligraphy paintbrushes in different sizes and I love them 😊 The mini palette is great and so cute 😍 the paints are ok for a bit of fun and I'm impressed with the mechanical pencil . Not bad for the prices . Thanks for sharing Zoe ❤

I was really impressed with the brushes!! Lovely to hold!! I think everything I got was great except the pencils and the paint but Drusillas had the pencils, even gave her the sketchbook because I have so many 🤣

oooooh I need that little palette, that looks fab! With the metallic paints, I had a similar experience with an expensive set of metallic paints, haven't got around to trying them again but I was very disappointed and had spent a lot more on them so for what you paid they're probably pretty good. Brushes look nice too. Uh-oh, maybe I will be doing another Temu order after all and I'll be blaming you Zoe :)

I think metallic paints on the whole can be a little rubbish, best use used so far have been the grabie ones and they were really pigmented! I’ve got some Arteza ones too that I’ve not used! But these temu ones were just really bad! If it makes you feel any better I already have ordered more stuff to make a Temu supplies part 2 🤣

@@zoehartist hehe yes it does make me feel better, safety in numbers! My fave metallic paints ever so far have been the CSY Gallery handmade watercolour ones - I was given a set by Claire (Clair96bel), loved them, then recently I sent a set in different colours to Gaby. The different golds in those especially are just lush.

Check the cap of your mechanical pencil again. If it's not an eraser it could be a sharpener. If not you can buy a 2mm sharpener for them

@@zoehartist that's a shame. Is it actually a clutch pencil? I always forget when I'm using one and shoot the lead out by mistake 😂

It would have been nice to have the sharpener in it, but I’ve just looked and I paid £1.28 for it so I think that was great value! It’s more of a mechanical pencil than a clutch, you can add more leads in the back vs all the clutches I have hold the one lead. I’ve just ordered some more art supplies, so there’s going to be a part 2 🤣

I did let them sit with water for a bit and then really scrub at them, just not very good at all. I checked the price after I filmed they were £3.50 🤣

@zoehartist I've only used mine twice...for the price I didn't expect much and well...didn't get much 🤣 but I found they work quite well as highlights rather than pigmented metallics. I think I'll stick to ink for pigmented effects....unless I can afford the £30 single pans I've seen on insta that are insane! 😁

I think if they said they were for adding a shimmer or highlight then I’d have said they were better but to say they’re watercolours is a bit silly! Grabie do some very good metallics and I’ve seen some on Amazon that are hand made, think you get 6 for 10-12 quid and they look fab!
