Temu Haul!!! Let’s make an Emergency get home/escape bag! 

I was in the Midwest (Missouri River) flood. 2019. Lost everything in a matter of a few hours. I was rescued by a front loader me my purse and my two cats in carriers. FYI, dryer lint makes a great fire starter. Mix some lint with your wood and you are good to go. And your lint is free! Save it up in a zip lock bag!

Such a great idea💡. I love everything you suggested. I would add a portable am/fm radio to get emergency updates if needed. Also, a much larger flash light. We both live in Texas and flooding is an issue. So, I would also suggest that gadget the breaks the car window and even a life jacket. Also an extra change of clothing and a jacket. Ok, before I watch the video, I am recording home from suffering ANOTHER TIA (a minor stroke), and shopping at TEMU is helping me recover quicker lol! Now back to the video. We still have can goods, bottled water, and tissue stored in our guest bedroom, which will happen again (pandemic), so everybody, be prepared. I take a lot of road trips, so I have first aid and emergency kits, two blankets, and a jacket in my car, I also keep a case of water in my car, change out once a year and I have done so for a long time now.

Hi there, Love your videos. Consider adding a sterno burner I believe its called to your emergency bag. You can use that to heat your water and when it burns out you can use the can as a vessel to add the wood blocks, etc for continued use.

For your emergency bag remember tea lights fondue pot matches ,waterproof sleeping bag ,beef jerky, water bag for your phone . I could go on but I see you have some of the right stuff.

We had a hurricane in CT (Sandy) several years ago and were without power for 3 - 4 days, My parents no longer had a perculator but I did, so I brought mine over and we fired up the gas grill and made coffee. Made us all much happier. They also didn't have a can opener except electric so I brought them one. We got through. The Red Cross set up a shelter, showers and meals at the middle school, well attended and we were very grateful. I'm afraid my road trips and camping have taken a major downturn since my stroke (and I had to sell my beloved car) but I have one of those emergency sleeping bags. Hope you won't need to use your bug-out bag but thanks for another useful entertaining video.

Although I have a sleeping bag for temp low as 33 degrees, I ordered the emergency blanket, thanks for that one. I have a high-beam flashlight for the car, man is it bright! I take a lot of road trips, so I keep a world map in my car, I don't depend on GPS only. I also have a car air mattress because I stop at the rest area often to sleep.

You are not crazy, you are very smart. We think alike. If anybody gets scared by learning how to stay safe, then they will really be scared by not being prepared. A few things I thought of are coloring books and crayons, coloring is very calming or just plain paper to draw on. A deck of playing cards, sweatpants and sweatshirt to get comfy and also maybe some flares to place around the car to be more visible at night. Thank you for sharing this awesome video.

Any melted candle wax I have I soak up with cotton balls and when cool store in zip lock bags. They are great to start a fire for your little stove. Can use summer or winter.

Waterproof matches are amazing!!! A lil vaseline on whatever you are starting a fire with will make it burn longer

Temu has a flashlight solar powered and it has a phone charger on it,and those little misting fans,portable air conditioner fans,very reasonable and work great.I’m in Texas and we know how hot it gets if they decide to turn off the electricity on us

Such a great idea! I have been meaning to do this for all 5 of us in the home. I live in Southern California. We don't get many emergencies other than fires and earthquakes.

Oh girl you forgot an extremely important item and I got it from Temu. A portable potty. It’s a plastic vessel that holds urine, then you dump it. I had one years ago when my son was a baby. We were always on the road and kids always have to use the bathroom when one isn’t available. This was an awesome video. I totally agree with you. Always better to be prepared than to be un prepared. We also have head lamps, portable fan and various lights. Yes, I hear you girl…the right against the left. I am SO with you. I have cooling towels and cooling caps. I live in Florida and we get some pretty nasty storms. I still wear my mask, I will never stop. I have health issues so…… You also need to take important documents should you need to evacuate. I think that emergency bag is a wonderful. Cuz with the weather we never know what it's going to be like. And I remember was it couple years ago Texas gets really snowed in. Thank you so much for sharing that

Better safe than sorry. I haven't experienced stuck in traffic for hours, but I have witnessed it while travelling opposite direction on NJ highways. Back up for miles. That's a nightmare. Yes, it's best to be prepared especially during winter/snow season.

Great idea for like you said you just don’t know the weather. You need some way to light the fire. There are different lighters that you can keep. I also found a small solar piece that will recharge my phone.

I liked all the things you were talking about that you should put in your bag in your truck I took a class one day for my job with the fire department in most of the things you talked about this a lot of the things that the fire men gel you can put in your trunk of your car in case of an emergency. There is only one thing I didn't hear you say you didn't say a roll of toilet paper you never know you may need that. Thank you ought to put that in there as well even though you have that little head flashlight in that other little one you still need to get just a little bigger flashlight with extra batteries and put in your bag you never know you might have to get out and walk somewhere and the flashlight that's a little bigger may help you find your way but otherwise all of those things you said is really nice and I am going to make me a bag because I do remember them telling me you should keep a bag in your car just saying.

You will also need an oven mitt. Also, question: where would you put the stuff over to start it up?

A few more things for your trunk... Road flares, decent flashlight, gas can, toilet paper and some cash.

I have the sunblock sleeves if I am stuck in the sun.

There doesn’t have to be a big emergency. You could come across a car wreck at the side of the road where people need first aid. Some of these are handy to keep in your vehicle anyway

They sell a water filter straw in case water becomes contaminated. I bought these after a local flood and we had to boil all our water. I just ordered some of the emergency blankets the other day.

Coffee comes in the the sticks as well and there is also instant coffee in the jar or container I keep lighters and matches batteries also the ld candles are handy as well as solar powered stuff will be good to get as well deodorant and foam soap is also a good idea I have a clip fan that is battery operated and I can charge it in my car a hand held can opener is good to have too one for the house and one for your car it's a good idea to have some can goods in your emergency bag as well as something like hard candy or something that will help if your sugar gets low even something like banana chips or jelly beans and a jar of peanut butter these are things I would have because I m diabetic as well extra clothes too and shoes pain relief medicine that would help if you or someone is pain rubbing alcohol and peroxide different sizes of bandages lip balm travel size mouth wash dry shampoo heated socks and gloves heated seat cushions and pillows plastic bags for trash and dirty clothes also tissues and baby wipes as well as a couple of rolls of toilet tissue and paper towels car flares and flash lights I have solar and battery operated lantern lights as well kerosene lanterns they were given to me by my mama!! I was in Hurricane Harvey so I have learned over the years as well diffently have a gas ⛽️ can to ready Thanks for sharing everyone needs to see this video 😊
