it healed up overnight for me. I did use the plastic heads after a while and got some liquid yuck off my face.
And later that night a white head pimple formed on my chin, the white plastic head couldn't get it out.
but earlier as you've seen in the videos on the device use, the silicone head sucked the pimple right out. So in my opinion the silicone is better than the plastic for whiteheads and the plastic head in my opinion is good for getting oil or liquid out of/off of the face.
