WTF is this craziness. What happened to separation of church and state. The US doesn't have a national religion, keep your faith at home. Our founding fathers new better.
This is why it all went down BECAUSE they took them out of the classroom in the 1st place! Read history 1700 there was daily Bible reading and prayer in class! Thats why there was less crime, theft, etc aka MORE moralism in the past 🤷🏻♀️
@@lilycano3846 What constitutes a crime today is very different from what was considered a crime 300 years ago. Beating your wife and children was not against the law. 75% of adult men were what today we would consider alcoholics. You could buy cocaine and heroin from any pharmacist. Lynchings. Incest. Slavery. Calling people from the 1700s our moral superiors is absolutely laughable.
I MEAN AMEN TO PUTTING 10 COMMANDMENTS, CONSTITUTION, ETC. IN ALL BUILDINGS, ETC! THESE IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS HAVE ONLY GOOD, CARING, POSITIVE THINGS TO MAKE EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING BETTER‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
The 10 Commandments are what our basic laws are made upon. Children should be taught that adultery, stealing, and murder are against the law. It should be noted that on the front of the Supreme Court building is Moses and the 10 Commandments.
Isn't this the stuff that should be taught at home? Morals, basic respect, empathy... teach at home before they hit a classroom. This turd law isn't going to do anything but stick religious zealots into the spotlight.
@@lisamcneilly2637lmao exactly why a judgement is coming to America. “Religious zealots” they said, whereas they, these heathens, are ruining everything and have never done anything to deserve a voice.

The version of the Ten Commandments shown here is the version used by the Catholics and the Lutherans, not by the Methodists and the Baptists. So which government official is going to choose the winner between Christians about whose commandments are posted?
@@jeffkardosjr.3825Yes, I'm positive. The version shown in the thumbnail is the version I was taught in Catechism. The Calvinists version separates the First Commandment into two commandments, making the prohibition against making graven images the Second Commandment. Then the Calvinists lump together the two coveting commandments (the Ninth and Tenth Commandments for the Catholics and Lutherans) at the end.
I’m a Muslim and I also want some scriptures from the Koran to be posted at all schools. This is freedom of religion and I would like all children in all schools to be exposed to my religion so that they can become familiar with my faith. My neighbor is from India and he also welcomes this new law because he’s going to advocate for the posting of the Sikh religion on all school campuses. He also wants all children to become familiar with the Sikh faith and customs. Children will then be able to choose which religion/faith they wish to practice. Also, we would like for all public schools to have a designated place for children to be able to pray to Allah while at school. I’m so happy that they came up with this new law. 😅 I suppose Americans would call this scenario, the opening of Pandora’s box. Another saying; “be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.”
@@LovenFunArtsnCraftsDesigns I was being sarcastic. I’m not really a Muslim, just trying to make a point. Many people (the very same ones who are pushing for the posting of the Ten Commandments) would be outraged if another religion tried to do the same thing. They’re not taking into consideration that what’s good for them is good for everyone else. It’s the same thing as the states that allow open-carry assault weapons. It’s okay if you’re white, but the minute a black person walks around in public carrying an assault rifle, he’s going to get shot by the police. In fact, the only time in history that the NRA actually pushed for a ban on people carrying firearms was when the Black Panthers were doing the exact thing. Many of those people actually get some of this so-called backing for their racist thoughts from the constitution, “All men are created equal…”. At the time, black, Indian and other people were not considered “men “ but on the same level as livestock. So, they really didn’t mean that all men were actually equal. This should make Justice Clarence Thomas think twice about just how far back he wants to go to make America great again.
America foundations was built hrough Christ. and honestly we need God in our country. With everything going on in this world, we need God more than ever in our homes, schools, everywhere...
And there's also the fact that they use the phrasing their creator not God, because you know we were a global people by then by that I mean humanity had contact all across the world through shipping and such.

With their zeal to reaffirm the underpinnings to western civilization Louisiana, might have overstepped by requiring the ten commandments to be posted.
Will posting these commandants stop someone from doing something or behaving in a certain way? It is a waste of time. You think someone will be saved in the hallway as they are walking to the cafeteria after seeing the posting? Come on now. You think the people who want the commandants to be posted are not breaking a few themselves? Let's be real for a minute. In fact, those are the people you need to watch.
I went to Catholic school k-12. Religion class everyday. Ended up atheist cause of how they tried to force religion down my throat. I just wanna be free. Tired of the GOP trying to force/ban everything. So I'll vote against them. And I'm independent. Pro 2A and pro choice.
A more theocratic state sounds like the dumbest idea possible. Imagine what so many Americans, that came to America to avoid religious based wars, would think of such a law in a public place, backed by the state. They'd probably be like... "Come on... I tried to escape this bs in England... idiots be here too..."
Yes. Idiots “be here too”. Wouldn’t it make sense to research the place you’re headed before going? Then one can make the decision to go or stay where they are.
@@thesun-N-moon8885 If a person thinks their daily problems are going to be solved by indoctrinating children to their personal religious faith, the problem isn't with the children. The Five Precepts of Buddhism: Abstain from taking life Abstain from taking what is not given Abstain from sexual miscondict Abstain from false/idle speech Abstain from intoxicants that cloud the mind Will this be mandated next?
The original version from the Petale level. Not the fake one. English Version: You shall have no other powers and no gods, idols and saints next to Creation. You shall keep good the name of Creation and not abuse this term. You shall make every day into a day of celebration and hallow it (control it). You shall not break your bond with Creation, including this: You shall not commit adultery. Honour Creation just as you honour, respect and love your mother and father. You shall not kill in depravity. You shall not rob and expropriate. You shall not bear false witness against the truth, Creation and life. You shall never, never speak an untruth. You shall not greedily covet material wealth and your neighbour's possessions. Do not curse the truth.[1] Never, never put Creation's recommendations and Creation's laws into unworthy cults.

All over. Like it used to be. This country was built on Christianity values. It was the bad apples that ruined things. That's what always happens, the rotten ones ruin it for others.
This is completely American? One nation UNDER GOD? which god did you think they were reffering to? also, separation of church and state just means the church isnt in charge of the state. It doesnt mean religion isnt part of politics or public life.
I think it's a wonderful idea. I grew up with my hand over my right heart reciting the pledge allegiance to the flag, God Bless America! I don't see anything wrong with this. God is in control.
Great! They definitely need the Constitution and Bill of Right's also. This country was built on these values and we need to get back to the foundation of this country. If you can hang a pride flag you can hang the commandments as every religion believes in them.
Ok but what about students who don’t follow Christianity and practice other religions? I think having the 10 commandments posted up is great, in a CATHOLIC school. NOT a public school. - This is dumb.
So what about children who don't worship The Pride religion and their crap all over the walls. When need to get back to education instead of politics and sexual preferences. This might do just that.

Either display it all--- or none at all. 🤷♀️
Fun Fact: The Ten Commandments were witten to only apply to Gods Chosen people. Based on their actions and propensities. If you are not Jewish, following them will not get you into heaven. Still, they are good rules to follow that will prevent allot of harshness in your life. Especially if your neighbors also adhere to them. For Christians, Jesus’s sacrifice washed you of your sins. Only by living a life of sin. Can you undo what was done to save you.
No one gets to heaven by keeping 10 commandments, whether Jew or Gentile. The 10 commandments have been broken by every human being except one, the Lord Jesus who was fully God and perfect Man, He saves all who trust in His for redemption, righteousness and forgiveness. All who are saved by Him have a new birth, and new spirit to desire to live according to that which is right in His eyes. No flesh shall be justified by the works of the law. Salvation is a _gift_ of grace and cannot be merited by any of us. The 10 commandments are in principle applicable to the entire human race, and teach us basically what is wrong and what is right in the sight of God. They also teach us that we fall short through transgression, with penalty (now or/and in the eternal world) and need to face this problem. And the only acceptable to God solution is the redemption found in Jesus Christ.
It doesn’t matter what religion you are there isn’t one of the Ten Commandments that shouldn’t be followed. So don’t worry about where it comes from just follow what they say and you’ll be living your life in a righteous way.
@roems6396 who said anything about LAWS? Read each one as if it’s 10 different sentences and tell me which one shouldn’t be followed. Maybe… no other gods before me if your atheist.

There is NO reason for this, in this multi religious world. Choice is being taken out of the equation here, and like the missionaries back in the days of the founding fathers they are insisting that this is the only way, the Christian way. How small minded!! And by the way, if you know your Bible well you will know that there are more than 10 commandments.
@DonnaHughs-qy7ih so its okay for them to talk about lgbtq sexual misinformation related topics in elementary but explaining adultery is too far? That makes no sense go find your brain
@boonnoob8324 they're not talking about sex thier talking about gender there's a difference and people living those lives don't think it's misinformation🤦♀️
Clear violation of the First Amendment, that prevents the government, in this case, public schools, from favoring one religion over another. It will be interesting to see if the Supreme Court has a basic knowledge of our Constitution.
Louisiana might be the only state to display this but hopefully it is only the first one - again. Might be nice to see the Pledge of Allegiance again too.
These are the correct rules: I am the Lord your God: You shall not have strange Gods before me. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain. Remember to keep holy the Lord’s Day. Honor your father and mother. You shall not kill. You shall not commit adultery. You shall not steal. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife. You shall not covet your neighbor’s goods
@Adam-zn9yh Why obey something that is written? But never physically seen.... (Faith and false hope?) Everything we "obey" always ends in our own self destruction.
Separation of church and state, why does it need to be classrooms. That's gov't imposing their beliefs on everyone. We should be able to believe whatever we want, whether there is a god or not. That's our right, not for someone to impose their beliefs.
They also need to put the constitution up in everyone of them as well as police stations court rooms and the governors and congressional office. Because the Lord knows that they dont know that either. Especially the govenors and congressional members and lets not forget the judges.

This is the first set of commandments. Remember Moses smashed them and got a new set written by God. These include "thou shalt not boil a baby goat in its mothers milk" and they are labeled as the 10 commandments. This set is not.
Exactly, we wouldn't want parents thinking their children aren't getting fed other religions while in a state funded school. We want their children exposed to one religion against their will, regardless of their private religions beliefs.
Any religion that has a good moral compass for our young people should be able to display their foundation rules, as long as they do not promote harm or violence. The Ten Commandments are a basic set of rules we should follow to make the world a better place.
