Ten Day Forecast: Colder Than Average October On The Way?

Hello everyone and thanks for tuning in to today's ten day forecast video update. We're going to look at the weather for the next ten to fourteen days. Day ten will take us to 10th October - and we'll be able to extend out beyond that with the extended GFS and ECM ensembles (they run to around a couple of weeks) We'll have a look at the CFS weeklies taking us into the end of October at the end of the video...
The weather remains unsettled for the start of this week with yet more rain but high pressure will turn the weather drier through the middle and second half of this week. Looking ahead to the weekend the "window" of drier weather looks set to end quite quickly with low pressure bringing more rain at times. Next week could turn very unsettled with deep low pressure giving spells of heavy rain. Temperatures could become colder, too and the overall trend for October could be cold and wet - Could we have a colder than average October on the way?
