Am I the only person who remembers the 90s ITV sitcom You, Me and Him (Steve Punt, Nick Hancock, and Hugh Dennis)? Ran for one series (6 eps), but my very vague recollections of it are quite favourable. Especially the episode where no one could sleep because a car alarm kept going off and Nick Hancock's character eventually took matters into his own hands...

Talking of Peter Davidson I remembered watching him in "A Very Peculiar Practice" set in the medical practice of a university. As I recall one particular scene caused a bit of a stir where during a bedroom scene the female actress was topless whilst Davidson remained in his pyjamas. "Piff Paff Poff I want to have it off!!!!" Subtle humour it was not. Funny it was. Backwards I talk. Yoda am I.

@@CaitiffPrimogen Some of the episodes really stick in my mind- when they’re held hostage at a biscuit factory and the woman who played Super Gran was in it. Shona and Steve ‘gettin it on’ whilst Sebastian was on holiday. It was a mad series. FYI Shona’s surname was Spurtle which is a Scottish kitchen implement for stirring porridge 😂

@@FatNorthernBigot ahhhhh YES! That was Scotland’s first ever entry into the Eurovision! 😂. I’d forgotten those till you reminded me. 👍

@@mral8145 It was quite a highlight. Stuck in my mind, anyway. They did the pulling-away of the garments in the style of Bucks Fizz, but it was the stewards revealing their bike shorts. 😂 "Piff, Paff, Poff, I want to have it off 'till I cough.".

Didn't _"Nightingales"_ end with the Robert Linsay character meeting his estranged father and turning into a werewolf?

Can anyone remember a sitcom from the naughties about a girl with dark straight hair where suede were used in the soundtrack. One episode a lad sang and played a suede song to her on the bed.

Nightingales excellent dark comedy werewolves, a women called Mary appearing at Christmas and a chance of a job at Heathrow were just a few of the story lines
