The idea of Falconia becoming a mass, MASS sacrifice to the Godhand makes the idea of this all being part of a grand cyclical plot, and that King Geisreic's kingdom was simply the one that fell to it last, becomes even more concerning...

Ultimate happy ending would be they somehow keep the full moon in the sky and keep Griffith forever imprisoned in the moonlight boy's form as he's forced against his will to feel his emotions for the rest of time
I don't think so. The moonlight boy is likely just a vessel for griffith at the moment. Slaying griffith would mean killing the moonlight boy and even if they do, it probably won't kill astral world femto.

When Ganishka is thinking about Griffith in volume 33, he specifically says that they weren't able to harm even a strand of hair from Griffith, but Guts...
Good Catch! The loss of a strand of hair foreshadows guts to being able to take down Griffith somehow. How? I really need to know how because the godhand is too powerful. I wonder if Griffith might try to sacrifice casca to get rid of that weakness? Maybe he can’t even do that.

I hadn't noticed that connection. At some point, I think Guts will find a way to more fully remove himself from the flow of causality. I think he's already on his way. Although, he may be risking his humanity in the process. The fact that Guts was able to cut that hair likely shows that he's already on the cusp of some major breakthrough. Pretty soon, he's either going to get some kind of upgrades to his equipment or he'll develop some kind of new technique with his companions.

Guts and casca escaping was just to show the game can always change. Even the god hand noticed how their escape means nothing is perfectly set in stone and a single splash in the water can occur during a whirlpool. It doesn’t change the whole event it just means don’t expect everyone’s plans to go according to plan. Again Griffith’s plan is off the rails as the demon child merged with his body. That wasn’t supposed to happen and maybe because the demon child also survived the apocalypse inside casca til he was born so he’s out of sorts with causality

Void was a sage in skullknights empire. The tower where femto was reborn was also the site of voids eclipse: It was mentioned that a sage proclaimed gaeserics sins to the heavens and angels descended.
I have a feeling Void became the first member of Godhand thousands of years ago. The fact that was saw a bunch of different members of Godhand in the past tells me a few things: 1. Godhand members can be killed 2. Five is likely the limit on their membership 3. The Godhand has been through at least two waves of members, if not more. 4. There might be a greater cycle here where Godhand members get killed off and Void has to assemble a new team from scratch. Guts's revenge may be part of some larger flow of causality not even the Godhand are aware of. They've shown before that they can't actually foresee everything. Some things surprise them and they try to explain it away by saying it's also part of causality.

Bro, this is actually blowing my mind: I've just noticed that, taking note to the fact that in the last chapter in Falconia, Griffith was specificaly talking about conquering other lands (a.k.a the whole world) and remenbering that time runs in a different flow in Elfhelm, could it be that Griffith appearing in Elfhelm, means that he ALREADY had the whole world in his hand, having Elfhelm as his last challenge???

This is my own batshit contribution: Skull Knight or Guts will cut Griffith with the Sword of Actuation, but instead of killing him and the Moonlight Boy, it just separated them. Not only will this give us some levity amidst the incoming darkness (Guts and Casca deserve it, goddammit), but it honestly makes Griffith even more of a tangible threat to them, since he no longer has the Moonlight Boy straining on his judgement and autonomy.
I've been pondering how they are going to seperate the moonlight boy and Griffith. Somehow never thought of The Sword Of Actuation. I think The Moonlight Boy will grow vastly in power, dimishing Griffiths hold on their body as their minds mix until Griffith can be destroyed as he becomes more "real"
I hate to give Griffith a technical W but I think he will *allow* this to happen, especially since he along with everyone else benefits from the Moonlight Boy being separated from him. Maybe his knowledge of causality will tell him that this is what he needs to do to be truly free.
my only rebuttal is that Skull Knight strictly told Guts to kill the defiled fetus at the end of the Golden Age arc because it's going to come back to haunt him. With howw dark Berserk gets, I don't think that there's going to be a real happy ending. I think it's going to be bitter sweet

Haven't got through the video yet but one thing I want to happen is for Guts and Casca to get rid of the Brand of Sacrifice. If they don't they are damned to hell for all eternity. Even if the story ends on a happy note this will still linger in the back of my mind and stress me out.
My personal theory is that 'hell' as described by the Godhand is the river of souls and it is where everybody goes when they die. You return to the astral world and dissipate into the magic energy from which you were created. The Godhand view it as he'll because to them the loss of their ego and ambition is the worst possible fate. I'm with you that it should be addressed in some way. The whole concept rubbed me wrong since we first see Vargus in the vortex.
@@gmanyer68 there is a sort of heaven afterlife that good people go to in the astral world. But since Guts and Casca are branded they will end up in hell. I love dark fate that the count told to Guts. I just hope they can avoid it some how.

Ye, we already have a hint of skullknight/void. Skullknight is similar to Guts except his girl died, thus why he saved Guts in the first place and attacked void first.
I think SK and Zodd are the same person. When Gaiaeric witnessed the Eclipse that is thought to have been the sage/Void’s rise to the Godhand, he died/was taken by the Berserker armour leading to his beast of darkness manifesting as Zodd, and his lingering grudge and will animated his dead body, leading to the SK.

Man, my boy Miura... Why did you have to die. This is so sad. I know his friend is carrying on the manga and i will read and accept the ending, however, there's going to be many questions that are not going to be answered because of Miura's death. Such tragedy, truly was, is and will be.
One idea I've had about the ending of Berserk was after the final battle, the counts daughter comes back to get revenge on Guts. He then talks her down from the dark path and helps her, showing how much Guts has grown. I could also see a "God Hand civil war" with Void and Femto ending up clashing with the apostles divided on who to follow
I can see this happening the other god hand should be able to tell that femto is being affected by a kid. It makes sense to question him to some extent

Will Guts ever find out that the moonlight child is his? Just as Casca put the pieces together in her mind and ran outside she was taken by Griffith, but she wasn’t been able to talk to Guts.
This is my theory, Griffith is cooking up up Falconia to not just sacrifice for himself or to summon the godhand to the world, but to sacrifice the Godhand themselves.

The question is, will their schemes ever come into conflict with Griffith's ambitions?
Guts needs to lead his own army against griffith. How could would it be seeing him on the front lines again, doing what he's been doing since day 1, but with people who all look up to him and love him. Essentially he became his own griffith, finally making himself an equal to him. Isidro also needs to realize that Guts is the 100 man slayer, and we need to see the behelit's purpose. Hopefully Guts doesn't turn into an apostle at the end that'd be really dumb. I hope it has a good ending where Guts sword is put to rest at the hill of swords and he's able to live out a peaceful life. Oh yeah and he needs to kill a dragon
While watching this, something clicked for me. The relationship between our three main characters is almost a perfect inversion of the vision that Griffith had of being disabled and needing to be cared for by casca with their son sharing his namewith guts. Only now casca is until recently needing to be cared for by guts, while Griffith literally shares a body with their son. I don't know what any of this means or if it's intentional, but if it is, Miura is even more of a genius than we thought.
Here’s what’s been my theory for a bit: I always think back to just before the Eclipse during Guts’ battle with Wyald. In the end, Wyald was defeated and then further humbled by Zodd. He was then stripped of his apostlehood by that vortex and laid bare as the twisted old man he was before his ascension. Having said that, you might say that I’m of the school of thought wherein the Godhand are using Griffith. If Griffith lives up to his name and longs for something so grand that he steps on the toes of the Godhand, perhaps he could end up like Wyald. Once again laid bare as Griffith the Tortured, who ended up just being a cog in the causality.
Interesting. In a way they are reflections of each other. Wylad and Griffith both do whatever they want. Wylade was the leader of the black dog knights just like Griffith with his white aesthetic leading the hawks. Both sold their souls to become demons. Both weren't satisfied with their human existence. Where Griffith was calm and polite to get what he wants Wylade was rude, loud, and very vulgar.
While I'm happy that Berserk keeps rolling, I'm afraid that expecting these questions to be answered by Miura's team is asking too much. My understanding is that they have key events told by Miura, and that they will link these events by creating less accurate events in between, because they don't know exactly what every character does or says. I hope I'm wrong tho.
So in response to what you started to say about The Beasts of Darkness. I'm not sure if you're aware of Carl Jung's "The Shadow" but what Jung says about the shadow is spot on what The Beast of Darkness. Jung says in order to become a self actualized person one must integrate their shadow. Basically get it under control. That's where Skull Knight and Guts differ. King Gaiseric was never able to integrate his shadow so it consumed him. Guts will need to integrate his shadow AKA The Beast of Darkness in order to succeed!
I've been thinking about that to. Miura really did his research. We're already seeing Guts's beast in his eye while trying to attack Griffith recently. I think he's beginning to master it.
@@spencerharmon681 I mean, he knew about the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram (LBRP) which Shierke often performs a version of. It's extremely obscure to anyone outside of western occultism, so he REALLY knew his stuff.
The Beast of Darkness may not be the Shadow tho, it could be it own entity and cant intergrate. Its personality and Guts do overlap in the ID, and this is were the Beast seems to try to take over Guts . I read am a big Fan of Jung myself Academy Of Idea's has some great videos on him.
@@jamesspencer1997 I think they've been very clear that the best is in Guts mind. Like others can see it. I remember panels of the beast following behind as a shadow would. Or having the best literally emerge from the shadows. I think as well recently the new chapters coming out there is a panel where guts has the eye of the Beast. Maybe they were just showing us that it was about to take over. Or maybe it was showing us guts having more control over it starting to integrate it. I definitely could be wrong but I feel really strongly about this.

Because of elfhelms time dilation, I believe Falconia has already fallen or begun to collapse offscreen. The manga states that Griffith was the only thing keeping the melting pot from boiling over, and hes been gone for who knows how long in the time outside of elfhelm. So we have an enormous city full of racial tensions, man eating monsters, an inept government, and the one man who was keeping it all together just vanished overnight and didn't return? I'd honestly be suprised if Falconia was perfectly fine by the time we see it again.
It seems that Griffith cannot harm Casca so she is more likely to be the one to kill him. Would make it similar to Attack on Titan as well, and the two stories have some parallels that I think are not intentional but natural. It is also a common trope for revenge stories that the avenger gets robbed of their revenge. In the final arc I assume Guts, Casca, Rickert, the bakiraka, Griffith, Zodd, etc will eventually end up in the same place and it'll feel like the Golden Age again, and I hope it can approach that level of quality as well.
I believe flashbacks are extremely unlikely to happen, Mori said himself he is only writing what Miura told him, so my guess is that the story will be rushed to give closure to Guts/Casca and not focus on other characters sadly, so probably no more info on skully =(

@@jpphilosopher Yeah, a good chunk of Berserk's most famous plot points were sorta thought off as he went along. He didn't conceive the idea of the Band of the Hawk until like Vol. 3. He didn't plan on Casca and Guts getting together, nor did he even plan on Casca giving birth to the demon infant. It's likely even the Berserker armor was thought of as he was barely entering the Millennium Falcon arc. It just so happens Miura was just good at improvising and that's completely cool. However that also means he likely didn't have a full thought out blue print regarding the future of Berserk. Which means maybe he only had a couple notes regarding the bigger events that could take place.

Griffith's sacrifice was never fulfilled entirely because Guts and Casca are still alive. And I feel like actively protecting Casca from Apostles will make the other god hand members angry. As far as how Guts could potentially kill Griffith, he could maybe use a combination of the behelit, man made behelit, dragonslayer, the berserker armor, and the sword of actuation. As far as the ultimate sacrifice, Griffith will likely have to sacrifice Falconia in order to summon the entire god hand.
Bruh the other God Hand members don’t care. They have their own agendas. Even Slan said she has no clue what the other members are doing during her fight with Guts
Guts Squad will find a way to reverse the crimson behelits power and strip Griffith out of his godly aura. The old band of the hawk will come back to life and fight the new band of the hawk in an epic battle. Guts will get back his arm and eye while Griffisu will be weakened. Guts will swing towards Griffith but then stop close before he would split his head in half. Saying he's done with him and is gonna move on. After that Griffith will kill himself... since Griffith is now an emo boy again after his god powers are gone.
I think that _someone_ is going to get offered betchi's sacrifice, probably guts by slan (behind griffiths back maybe? unlikely, but we saw a glimpse of that dynamic in their conversation on the quippoth) and guts is going to tell her to REALLY shove it. I dont think that the sacrifice will be carried on, but Guts has been carring that thing all the series while collecting -sacrifices- true friends, its just so much how the Causallity works on this series. P.d: I belive Miura introduced the Egg Of The Perfect World in part probably to foreshadow that, yes, branded ones can't be re-sacrificed but they can become apostles themselves, besides all the symbolic and plot importance that character has, it would make the scene of the offer sooo much more tense before Guts at the lowest rejects it.
Just maybe, the last behelit would be used to track down Casca. Maybe Griffith's last resort and stronghold would be the Eclipse realm itself just so Casca can't be easily retrieved by Guts. The band would by then be forced to a stalemate to find a way for an incarnation or wait indefinitely. Also maybe, the moonlight child would be then sacrificed by Guts to hinder Griffith's physical manifestation while also have an access to kill Griffith in his Astral/GH form.
guts won't sacrifice anyone. He's the opposite of grifith in the sense that he would rather go through the worst so that people he cares for are well while grifith sacrifices people around him for his own benefit. It's the same as the theory of apostle guts, won't happen because he's human, down to the last bone.
Any new information on Skull Knight and Void and I would be happy. Also I want to see Guts' reaction to Falconia and if Griffith has more plans for the people of Falconia.

Serpico defidently deserves a gf. I know its illogical, but I always imagined that he could had an arc about moving on from Farnese and finding what he wants for himself. Farnese will eventually become a powerful witch who doesnt realy need protection, plus Rodesick can look after her. So realy Serpicos role of protecting her will not be needed anymore. The only problem is that Morda and Serpico haven't realy interacted. But I can see them making good chemistry with each other. Also I just want Farnese to find out about her blood relation with Serpico

Man this story is TRAGIC! Even in the best outcome of Griffith getting his comeuppance, Guts and Casca will never be the same considering their son needs to be slain in order for Griffith to die.
Here's my crazy theory: What if this whole time Guts has been carrying around the behelit so that it could fall into the hands of its destined owner.....Theresa. Theresa then uses the behelit to sacrifice Falconia just like what happened to king gaeseric? Idk that's just my half baked tin foil hat theory
Honestly I think Skull Knights behelit sword is gonna play a part with griffith and the moonlight boy. Imagine if at the moment MB turns back into Griffith. SK or someone was able to slash with the sword thus separating the two into separate entities but making both of them vulnerable again!
If Casca gets a new group for herself in the current arc, Sonia, Mule (If these 2 learns of Griffith's real form and intentions), Jerome (It would be nice to see him back in the manga and his possible future interactions with Casca will remind her of Corkus), Jill, Theresia (it would be absolute irony if the 2 girls who met Guts on his Apostle Hunt Season will help Casca to come back to him) and Chitch (OKAY, OKAY, I just want to see her again and if she returns, she can have the same healing role Puck and Ivalera has and I WANT to see Guts reunite with her) would be the perfect candidates to join her team!
Behelits are normally used to sacrifice others to benefit yourself. What if one of our main characters sacrifices themselves to help Guts, thus "reversing" the behelit's power towards something positive for once? How about using it to upgrade the dragonslayer like you suggested?
I see Guts becoming more than just a raid leader and commander, he becomes a general of his own army marching against the forces of the Godhand. I too would like a reunion with Rickert and company and what skills, trades, knowledge they bring back to the fold. Who knows, would be interesting seeing him either a poet or king in the very end of Berserk. I do think wielding a dragonslayer should mean he has to encounter a dragon on his way back to Falconia. I do think there should a big reveal to the masses who Griffith really is. I used to toy with the idea that both Guts and Griffith would go out like both Winslow and Swan do in the Phantom of the Paradise. As for the brands, not sure if they can be removed from those still alive from the original Band of the Hawk. I would love to see a Wounds part three to tie Guts' and Casca's relationship together again. There is the possibility this all could end like in King of Wolves Miura did back then. This has been the best story of my lifetime here in earth. Lots of turns we did not expect from the previous readings.
It sounded crazy to me at first, but Guts has gathered quite a lot of powerful allies very recently. He's not the kind of guy to try to become some big shot leader, but it might just happen anyway.
Serpico will use the behelit. Him fighting Guts (using any possible means to get an advantage) has been a running theme, his threat level even being compared to that of an apostle (so imagine when he becomes one). It's about to happen now that Elfhelm is falling, Casca is probably being kidnapped and the party may be forced to split (temporarily?)... the Elf Queen (O can't spell her name) warned the girls about getting hurt during Casca's dream sequence Farnese had a seeminly small wound in her leg. My guess is that's about to show after the healing magic of Elfhelm ceases or something which will lead Guts to left her under Serpico's care and with at least part of the crew that came in the boat. Being impared by the astral wound on to of feeling lost without Guts and useless without Casca to care (which has given her purpose), Farnese will spiral back into madness... Serpico will be crushed and blame Guts for it... the behelit will somehow end up in his hands and he will sacrifice a broken Farnese... And as an apostle he will cause great trouble, possibly trying to get back at Guts using Casca as hostage. I hope it will also be the opportunity Casca needs to show how she's not some helpless Daniel in distress. I mean lets hope that Miura's plans were really passed in full...
5:40 just minor reminder, "Silat" name pronounce as "Sie-lat" not "Saa-lat." Silat itself is a name taken or directly reference from real martial arts from Indonesia (South East Asia) called "Silat." This pronunciation make sense as both Japanese & Bahasa Indonesia languages read as it sounds, different with something like English.
I suspect that Skull Knight killed the four Godhand members that were stood alongside Void in the flashback after the woman he was holding in his arms died, doing so in a fit of pure rage. But before he could land a killing blow on Void, the Berserker armor killed him instead. Another thing to mention is that the Dragonslayer did cut a strand of Griffith's hair when Guts was attacking him, so that means that the Dragonslayer could very well damage Griffith but he's either distorting space around him like he did with Skull Knight's sword or he is phasing his body when Guts takes a swing at him.
I really think if anybody uses the beheleit it would be Puck. I just started reading Berserk a couple weeks ago and caught up when 367 dropped and I honestly just assumed that everybody else would think that Puck would use it. I’m not really sure why that isn’t a popular theory when it is foreshadowed SO much. Can elves not use them or something? He is so possessive over it and is obviously attached to it, always reminds Guts that it’s “his” and, claims to know its favorite food etc. And judging by the fact that nobody seems to expect it it would be a great red herring moment
11- when will Shnoz return? What if Sonia transmits Casca's memories of the Eclipse to everybody in Falconia and the mass starts doubting Griffith and the idea of him being a savior? What if that causes Griffith to lose power in any way and distorts the way the world is now? Like in Albion everybody was hoping for a savior, but now everybody wants to save themselfs and so the world changes somehow so anyone has the power to struggle on their own.
9:03 just a detail on this pannel, the dragon slayer was actually capable of harming griffith, if you notice theres a single stranf of hair that came out of griffith. So yeah thats a minor detail that can make a huge diference
For me the biggest thing i want answered is a full backstory on SkullKnight and his history as king G. What exactly happened? I want to see a scene by scene flashback of all of it. I want to see what he was capable of back when he was human, how he met Flora, when he got the breserk armor, the full fight between him and the GH, and exactly how he ended up into what he is now as SK. I want to see the history with him and Void, and see what happened to the previous GH members and a backstory on the current GH members. I want to know who Slain was before she became a GH and see her history. I would also like the count’s daughter to return as an apostle to fight Guts. And see the guy with the circle blades (forgot his name) team up with Guys to fight Griffth and the GH. Lastly I wanna see Guys get a power up in someway so he can realistically face griffith, because currently there’s no way he can beat him.
I really believe the Betchi is destined for either Farnese or Serpico. One of them dies horribly and a new eclipse occurs. I used to think it would deffo be Farnese to die, as we all know round 3 for Guys and Serpico is on the cards. But the more I think about it, Farnese has had such a crazy redemptive arc from who she first was when we meet her in the manga. But we know that lonely, spiteful child is still in there. Serpico dying to save her will bring back all of the guilt and despair at once. Although the dragon slayer as a Behalet swords would probably so much better!
I imagine if the Moonlight Boy must be sacrificed for the sake of the world...it will be at the boy's urging himself. to protect it's parents, namely Casca... demanding his own end...to save the world they live in. after all, he sacrificed himself at Albion to save Casca...it didn't die as a result, but should have. so, if with the little power he had before he goes that far...you don't think that it will go that far again, or further ? the Moonlight Boy won't just be a party to Griffith's defeat...chances are, he will be an active participant.
imagining a scenario where he loses his prosthetic hand, can't muster the strength to swing the dragon slayer at full power. Reaches out with left hand, and his spiritual hand grips the sword, cuz sword can interact with astral beings and such.
I don't think that someone who Hates or Fears Griffith can harm him. Hence the reason why Rickert was able to slap his face. Perhaps like a Wherwolf, someone who loves him can destroy him. I don't know, just sayin...
Frankly I think the Beherit is meant for Guts. I think it will trigger in Gut's darkest hour when he is unable to beat Griffith and save Casca. And then I think Guts is going to do the one thing no one has ever done. Turn the Beherit down. And I think that will break causality and in so doing make him able to harm the god hand since they are protected by fate as much as magic.

My personal crack tgeory for bechi the behelit is that it will be used as a catalyst for sherikes biggest spell. we know that the god hand are essentially unbeatable, and that the behelit acts as a warp pipe straight to the bottom of the astral realm. I believe they will reverse engineer the artifiact and use it in a way to trap the god hand in the abyss and sever that section of the astral world from the rest of reality.
The answer to all of these questions is Snail Apostle. They are really the one pulling the strings behind the scenes, everything is to their unknowable design.
Guts' Behelit is practically a "Schroedingers gun", to show it and not "fire it" is going against what good story telling is. But berserk i trust will do it justice.
We all know that Guts hasn't mastered the armor. And we all want an upgrade to Guts armor and sword somehow. It may need to be a mix of everything. Forged by dwarves, enchanted by elves and or everyone. Coated in Behelits idk have Rickert make explosives on the blade as well
1. Obviously puck is going to use it and become the first true elf/apostle hybrid the likes of which the god hand could only dream if. Then puck proceeds to beat down the god hand one after the other. They all die including Griffith. Guts and casca live happily ever after. The end
I've just caught up with Berserk and the one thing I have been wondering about is if we'll ever see Theresia from the BS arc again. She said she'd kill Guts the next time they met, so I wonder if she'll be back
If Casca leaves Falconia by herself and if Sonia, Mule, Jill, Jerome and Theresia (If the last 3 made it to Falconia) turns the cloak and help her go back to Guts' group, then I can see Guts vs Theresia happening if this idea comes true!
I don't know if they said the ark after this one will be the final one. I think they just said that there are a few more chapters to make until this ark was finished, then they will start a new one, but I don't think they said the new ark is the last one. Someone point me to a link if I'm wrong. I totally forgot Puck named the Behelit Betchi. LOL. He really takes care of that thing like a pet too. I mean it is harmless when it's not being used for the obvious. Plus, it's not its fault what it is. I wonder what the origin of the Behelits are. Maybe Betchi was a person once. I have 2 questions that bother me with this series. Granted, they are not as important to the plot, but I would still like the fact that Griffith had most of Charlotte's family killed and the fact that Serpico knows he and Farnese are half siblings to come out. They're not major to the plot, or at least they don't seem to be at the moment, but both of these being cases of one character who knows something that they aren't telling another character they are around a lot is annoying to me, especially with the Serpico/Farnese situation because I see no reason why he can't tell her already.
Skull knight will fuse the dragonslayer with beihelits to fight Griffith. Durring the fight, guts will use the berserk Armour almost to the point of death until the full moon comes out, turning Griffith in to the child. At that moment, the behelit activates as guts is ok his last breath The sacrifice he makes will be the boy, killing Griffith in the process and removing the brand from him and caska. guts' new form will be the merging of him with the Armour and of the beast of darkness , now zodd gets his wish to fight the ultimate fight. Guts wins and vows to hunt down all apostles and the rest of the God hand .
Doesn't sound like something i would see in berserk, if i saw a plot like that in animes like one piece, i would say nice, but it would be so out of place in berserk, Luck was never on the side of our protagonist
I think Silat sees Griffith as false messiah or al-Dajjāl he's aware of this because of his religion, ofc islamic-ish religion exist somewhere in Berserk universe, and this explains why Silat isn't bowing down to someone like Griffith.
Since guts is at his lowest currently in the manga i think the behelit will activate itself since activating it isnt a choice it happens but guts will refuse the offer, because it getting activated doesnt mean it will be used so i think it will happen sorta like this,behelit activation->guts party and him are enclosed in whatever ritual to make him an apostle->guts refuses to become an apostle->get thrown out I know its kind of a random theory and kinda baseless but why not throw it out there ?
Are we really hoping to see some giant stash of behelits appear out of nowhere so that Skull Knight can eat them and then swallow the dragonslayer (how), just so that Guts can get a sword that cuts space and time that has already been shown to be completely ineffective against Griffith? I really don't think the theory that the dragonslayer will become a Sword of Actuation(SoA) makes much sense. Each behelit seems to only have one face, so clearly there were several used in the creation of the SoA. Given that Skull Knight(SK) was literally picking up behelits Guts left behind, I think it's safe to assume he was searching up and gathering all them that he could. Past here be headcanon IMO it didn't seem like SK was actually ready to make the SoA, he did it because they needed a portal to get out but hypothetically he would have collected more behelits before he made it if he could. I don't read SK as an omniscient character, I do think he's prolly Geiseric(sp?), I see him as basically older Guts, more experienced but not really fundamentally different. I really don't think Danaan or anyone else ever came up to SK and was just like "hey, you should start eating behelits and melting them down in your stomach so that you can swallow your sword, sheath it in behelits and make it able to kill a member of the godhand or something," it feels like this prolly started as more of a way to remove behelits from circulation and then he realized that if he had enough then he could try doing something with them, maybe it was more than that and he's got some ability to influence the changes to his sword, he did seem pretty sure that it was gonna work after he decided it was time iirc, but I really think that the point of the SoA in the story is in the final fight between SK and Void. It seems like SK's real enemy is Void, and a sword that can make its own portals would perfectly counter what happened in the eclipse, where SK attacked Void then Void sent the attack back with a portal and SK had to block his own attack. IMO it was pretty clear Griffith wasn't even concerned about SK attacking him with the SoA and may have even planned on it, in summary I'm just really not sure how giving Dragonslayer the SoA treatment would work or matter, sorry to rain on your parade, but you basically asked for this when you said you wanted me to come back and say "Ryan was right." I'll gladly eat crow on this if you are right btw, and I wouldn't mind seeing some fan art of the Dragonslayer like that.
