Here is an updated video clip with a bit better detail showing the memory battery location. It also shows in detail the Optional TEN-TEC RX-366 Orion/Orion II High-Performance Sub-receiver fully populated with the filters.

Most of the Orion II’s already have had some sort of maintenance done. A9 board recapped, new encoders, battery changed. Firmware updated. Just ask the seller for specifics… good luck with finding your next radio.👍😊👌

Hi I just picked up a nice Tentec Orion 565,I replaced the battery after following your video so a big thanks to you!! Do you know if there is a wide band mod for the radio? Thanks Gm4zji Chris

Iv had a few TT in my time. Paragon, Omni 5 and 6 plus and now a Jupiter. Iv always fancied an Orion but the problem is.. They're just far far too BIG.. 😮😮😮
