Bying it in 2021. I had it with a rental and immediately fell in love with it. The medical practitioners bag style top access is so nice. Thanks for the video.
@@SamuelRiveraFilms there is no special compartment for a laptop but there is plenty of space. I would choose the 24. With the 21 the top handle of a fs5 touches the roof of the bag. So with the 24 you are sure to have enough space. When my 21’comes in I will try to fit my macbook in.
@@SamuelRiveraFilms and there is also a high top version. You can even store your rigged camera. And pull it out of the bag and shoot right away. I can imagine a laptop will definitely will fit in the high top version
Looks like such a great bag! Im being torn between the 21 and the 24inch versions. worried about the 24 inch version not being able to be used as part of carryon luggage
Hi Daniel, I see you too have (or had) a C100 mkii, so i'd like to ask you if it fits fully mounted with top handle as well (vertically or at least laying down horizontally) . I would like to buy one to use it for my C100 mkii fully rigged with top handle and hopefully microphone as well. I guess the 24 fits better, but i'm afraid it's too big and heavy. Let me know, thanks man
Wow missed this one, haha. Sorry. Yeah I woudlnt' see any issue having a fully rigged Scarlet in the bag. Depending if you have something mounted on your top handle you may have to remove it for transport, but if it's just the handle you could fit it. I travel with a fully rigged C200 with top handle/mattebox and have no issues. Also think about how tall the rig is with what your baseplate/rail setup looks like. I suppose you could build it too tall, but lots of top handles can come on/off easily
It would definitely depend on how/what you pack. Smaller laptop could probably fit down the side of the bag (interior) or if what you're packing isn't super tall, you could have the laptop in it's own case and lay it on top of the gear. I typically travel with a smaller bag with laptop, hard drives, headphones, etc so I never need laptop space in the Tenba.
I have one of these a comment to make that has not been made is that this bag is huge it is absolutely useless if you are doing Run and Gun in crowds as it constantly knocks people behind you. Other than this the bag is really good.
I've never personally attempted this specific build-out with the bag, but if I were to guess, your potential problem may come from the height of the rig inside the bag. If you have a monitor that sticks up higher than the top handle that will most certainly have to come off. If it's just the top handle you might be alright. I've got a C200 and it can fit in the bag nicely on rails with matte box and follow focus, but I think what I did last time was just slide off the top handle. Just to be sure, I'd check your dimensions of the rig and compare it to the interior dimensions of the bag which are: 11 in. W x 18 in. H x 8.75 in. D ( 28 X 46 X 22 cm )
@@danielshackleford841 Thank you Daniel...Rubidium at crimson engine says I should be okay...I can live with having to take off the handle as its a simple smallrig slide on slide off thing
