Tenby such a lovely place had a friend at school Besford Court he was always talking about it now I see why it's Beautiful love it. Thanks for taking me with you.

I stayed in Tenby with my family from 8th to the 15th of June un 1968. This holiday was so wonderful that I even remember the dates. We stayed in a beautiful Hotel which as I remember was called The Black Lion. We used to spend the days on the South Beach where at around midday you could not walk barefoot on the dry sand as it was so hot. In fact we enjoyed a fantastic heatwave the whole week we were there. In the evenings we used to go on sea cruises on a boat called The Tenby Queen. It was certainly the best family holiday we ever had.

Been to Tenby a couple of times, once with my Grandparents only and stayed in Rock Cottage, which is, or was in the middle of the Golf Course near to the railway station and one with all my mum's family and stayed in one of the coloured houses, can't remember which, on the right of the road down to the beach by the blue house at 14.23 before the road turns right above the beach, although it might have been the ones near to the beginning. I didn't actually realise how many houses were coloured.

The only thing that puts me off visiting Tenby and Wales in general is the 20mph speed limits now imposed by the stupid Drakeford

Media go over the top. Please do research. And anyway, Tenby has been traffic free within for 20 years. Allowing tranquility and nature to flourish. Notice the palm trees? Thank you.

Wait until late June, July and August before visiting when the weather is hot the sky turns vibrant blue , water turns torqoiuse , the streets are more lively , you will see more wildlife ect much better time of year to visit

Tenby has a lovely beach and is worth a visit but the village has been ethnically cleansed by the English purchasing second homes there. There is very little anymore which feels like Wales anymore.

@@mattglyndwr8622 You are right. It is officially a town. I often refer to Tenby, Newcastle Emlyn and other small towns as villages. They are historical towns and I will turn over a new leaf.

Was on my list of places to visit in Wales but thanks to Drakeford and his 20MPH rubbish I won't be coming now (£!).

It's not 20mph everywhere only on restricted roads around schools ect , A public health study estimated that the 20mph default speed limit in Wales could result in: 40% fewer collisions, 6 to 10 lives saved. 1200 to 2000 people avoiding injury every year I haven't had any trouble driving since it was introduced

@@welsh-cymru1588 If you believe that "study" you need help. The 20MPH limit is killing businesses and brings undue misery for locals. The 30MPH limit is fine, but Drakeford is trying to be a smartass and along with a host of his other idiotic policies he is driving businesses out of Wales. Good riddance, I won't be going to Wales any time soon. North Devon or Cornwall will be nicer and more practical for drivers.

@@JananRuhaniyah You can obviously stay in your box mate. Don't live in a city, never have, just a gorgeous part of Southern England. We have 30-50 mph speed limits on our roads like normal people. Not the Welsh though, who let an unkempt fool like Drakeford run their country into the ground with his pathetic little laws. Ask the bus drivers about 20MPH limits everywhere, and the ambulance drivers, taxis and normal people you fool.
