Great video again and great to see you back on the matches ….. I never fish that many lines - because I would forget which was which after the first 30 minutes! Tight lines.

Great masterclass and lots of great tips. Im not sure if the stress and exhaustion of match fishing is the way to go , but great video.

Wow a match venue without CARP and only 1 keepnet it's like turning the clock back to 1990 for me, I wish there were more match venues like this instead of worrying have I brought enough keepnets lol

Always nice to catch a tench or two! Not had one for a few years now - used to have a cracking club lake up the road from me that was full of them. It wasn't easy but get it right and it was great! You can't fish it now and it's been poached to death since lockdown 😔

Lovely looking venue. A nice change having a harder match. I enjoy seeing the choices you made to try and find out what the fish wanted on the day. Cheers.

A few years since I've been but Paul runs a lovely fishery there. I didn't realise he runs open matches I might have to give it a go 👌

Good video Jon, probably the sort of match most of us fish. Nice to see matches where silvers are the mainstay and bonus fish are not carp. Default section better than thanks for coming, gotta pay for those worms somehow 😂😂😂

Great to see a silvers match Jon, on what looks like a cracking venue. I started to get dizzy when you talked about all the lines you were going to fish.

It's great to aee you fishing at a match again Jon. Your needed to draw all those hard pegs mate👍😆😆😆. Always nice to chat to the neighbour sometimes to in the next swim. I hope your ok mate and keeping positive. Look after your beautiful family Jon and look forward to seeing a picnic with the family by the water with some fishing when we finally get some summer. was there today jon pleasure fishing took me a while to hit my first decent fish which was a F1. ended up with 4 Tench to about 4Lb and a small mirror carp and loads of perch, still no bream showing.
