Achilles tendinosis is a VERY different problem than achilles tendonitis.
Achilles tendinosis is a DEGENERATIVE problem.
Achilles tendonitis is an INFLAMMATORY problem.
It doesn't matter if you're an athlete, a hiker, a runner, a regular gym goer, or are just generally active, getting the right diagnosis for your achilles tendon is vital to getting permanent pain relief.
People generally don't know the difference between tendonitis and tendinosis, and knowing the difference is important in order to properly program for and rehab tendon pathology! Many people don't even know tendinosis is a thing!
The most common tendon problem we face at our office is achilles tendon pain.
Tendon problems are a big deal, and tendon ruptures sideline people for months and months. It is important to know the differences in the types of tendon problems as well as how to approach therapy and rehab for tendon issues. All it takes is one bad day with improper movement to completely blow out your tendon. Don't be that person. Understand tendon health NOW!
If you've have achilles tendinosis or achilles tendonitis pain for over 6 months and seen at least 3 doctors/therapists, give us a call at Barefoot Rehab at 862-205-4847 to see if you're a candidate for permanent achilles tendon relief.

Are you going to upload the exercises for this condition. I’ve had this for 2-3 years and I really would like to fix it. Thank you for the video

There aren't any exercises that will help this condition without treatment first - so we won't be uploading any exercises since they won't work for people with chronic OSIS or ITIS.

How about PRP and / or Shockwave? I am just recently ruptured my right achilles and now seem to be have pain in the left. Would those treatments help considering I am in a boot NWB for the other foot.

Highly recommend Shockwave for this purpose. It's extremely effective. Make sure you get it treated with the achilles pulled tight and not flaccid.

For adhesion Nop but you could get it to find one more about what could be causing your pain, an evaluation would be needed
