I just arrived last night and went here c 11pm. I had a b & c. EU 7.50. I gave a EU 20 note & got change from a tenner! He 'forgot' what I'd given him. Off to Canario tonight to see the Bowie tribute.

We always take some euros with us because some places will only take cash and then we pay by card at a lot of places. Exchange rates in Tenerife are usually very good but are un predictable.
