Where we stop in Tenerife, it's a great value hotel. The rooms are all being upgraded. For the cost it's excellent value. We stay half board, the food is good. At a total holiday of cost flights / hotel £1200 for 11 nights it's superb. We are out there for the 4th time later this month. We actually stay in room 750 the one above 650 , brilliant sun trap.

Who thinks about bars, when you have such a cool island to explore it's interiors, it's coast and all the underwaters... Grab a beer if you fancy but go hike and trekk while you drink it

I knew it would be Travellers or Leonardos - don't think I have had much drink in Leonoardos tbh as somebody told us the draught beer was dodgy. Always been happy with Travellers. Great to see the Anchor opening back up - I know they had that Irish Anchor bar in The Duke shopping centre so be interesting to see if that is closing and they are simply relocating or opening up this one as well. Personally I think there's too many Irish Bars in Tenerife - it simply seems to be a way of charging a premium on drinks but it seems to work.
Love the H10 Las palmeras hotel been about 4 times . Friendly staff good food and a lovely hotel with great entertainment. Only stayed half board as like to go out and about.😃
Great vlog! My first visit was in 1993 and stayed in the Barranco Apartments. Was hooked to Tenerife ever since. Know that area so well. Been once this year but so want to visit again. Love the content. Pls keep it coming.
Hi mate - there are door staff on some of the bars down on the Veronicas strip where Kev shows you in this video. They tend not to ask for I.D. Unless you are blatantly underage. Little bit of advice - if youre all that 17/18 age group then dont get too hammered bcos you will be 100% targetted by pickpockets & the night girls will rinse you without you even knowing. Stick together in your group, dont cause any silly trouble & yiu’ll be fine.

does anyone know if it its easy to pick up a wheelchair accessible taxi from the airport? We used to use LERO but they have ceased trading and we are advised to pick up a taxi at the airport. Thanks
Hi I'm.just back from there. Used to use lero too. But orbus has closed down.. there are plenty of taxis at the airport. Had no problem getting a wheelchair one. And when I was coming back I just booked one off the taxis on the golden mile for return.
It looks incredibly quiet. I live on a tourist island and it's far busier than this with 50k inbound tourists on a single weekend! This place looks like a morgue! 😉
Go to Leonard's every time the wife and I are in tenerife it is very busy at night as they usually have good entertainment.and the youth have their pre club party's.
I had an idea that’s where you were going, not that many big enough or busy enough during the day really up that way. Look I view to see the places I love and been an seen why on holiday. Kevin your on holiday why not do a few day trips yourself and let viewers see you mixing it up. I ain’t going to lie I’ve done every day trip or activity in Tenerife since the first time visited. You can’t beat the quads in the north in porta La Cruz in the hills was another level to any other activity I’ve done in the south. Amazing family business, can’t remember there name but they owned and don’t all types of activities from quads, water sports, etc I’ve never been able to book with them again since always in Costa now. Any one know?
I watched your video of benidorm lol...and tenerife laguna pk 2 was a favourite of mine 27 years ago. Till they started timeshare torture lol,great video.and now I'm thinking to bring my youngest son ,any ideas of a good apartment or hotel. Don’t fall for the dream , you know what time they open Znd what time they close , most don’t have a room at the back you could nap or put your feet up , you’ll end up standing 16 hours a day in heat ,having to talk to people you may not like , it’s 7 days a week , personal life goes out of the window , get two jobs here one in a bar at night and save your money for the hols , when the next lockdown comes you still have to pay your rent and when the economy tanks , you won’t be able to give your business away never mind sell it ,
I had a feeling you were going to say Leonard's was there 2 weeks ago and it was packeded outside daytime with a bloke doing karaoke, I always prefer drinking outside Travellers though, beer at Leonardos can be a bit hit and miss.

OMG, Imagine living near to that Leonardos bar = must be a nightmare for those apartment owners having to put up with all that noise 24/7.................I wonder if its for sale because of all the local complaints?
As an expat living in South Africa these places look really tame. Built up and ugly. I know it,'s expensive to get to Africa but if you can you won't regret it.
@@majordelays4909 Hello. Sorry looking at it now my reply looks rather churlish, wasn't meant to be. I don't seem to be able (know how) to post links. There are so many beautiful aspects to the country, from the bars and restaurants to incredible scenery, beaches and mountains, and of course wildlife. A lot of tourists go to Cape Town, Chapman's peak etc. but Capetown does have the more touristy feel to it. I like to go to Game Parks, eat around a fire listening to hyenas, not much light, tons of stars. We used to go hiking in the Drakensburg, very beautiful, but I 'm too old for that now! People who visit do seem to love it. Much respect Cathy
Stop giving away my secrets, Africa is a great place to visit with beautiful beaches and not many tourists. most of the tourist in Spain just want cheap English food and beer.
