Well deserved break for you. I usually do my own flights and accomodation. I get self catering so I.can do a mix of eating out and cooking myself (go to local market etc) . I have never done all inclusive but have done a couple of package deals but I really prefer my own thing. Although I do like the idea of being able to do yoga and aqua!

The water park in Tenerife has been voted the best in world numerous times you must go .brilliant vlog Ha ha ha love Bailey's, especially Spanish portions.

I would love to explore the volcano for sure. I usually go for guest houses ect as the crowds can do my head in. I really like the coastal area and beach. It was probably excellent value.

Just subscribed to your channel. You have a very pleasant speaking voice. I live on Fuerteventura but haven't been to Tenerife so found your vlog there interesting. The weather is a little chillier now than when you were there. The roads are closed to the high mountains in Tenerife and Gran Canaria due to snow and ice.

So refreshing, looks lovely.

Been to this hotel a few times and just cannot fault it. Food, Staff and Rooms are just fantastic. Unfortunately the prices at the moment for a family of 4 are just way to high so hopefully will go again soon once prices are more realistic

Looks lovely, I’ve stayed in this area of Tenerife loads of times just a bit further along the coast from where you are in Los Gigantes. I think Mount Teide is pronounced Tay-day! I found the cable car to the top terrifying 🤣. Enjoy the rest of your hols!

Looks fabulous. We are going to Lanzarote on the 30th Jan on a TUI package for 11 nights half-board. In August we have booked ourselves a week in an Apartment in Marbella Spain for a family Wedding. Also booked ourselves a week Airbnb in Vilmoura Portugal! So a bit of everything! Might like to go back to Tenerife at some stage. Enjoy it all.

What a beautiful hotel, reminds me of the Dreams hotel in Lanzarote which is my most favourite place for holidaying. We’ve not been to Tenerife for years did all the trips on our honeymoon 37yrs ago. Hi hope you both are having a fab time. We’ve just book a package with BA taking advantage of BA sale to Florence in March. I always try to do a package as I find it somewhat easier.

We book our flights and hotels separate. You have more choice and it is cheaper. We booked a holiday in May to Mauritius. I also been in Tenerife and did also the trip to Teide. You were in a very nice hotel.

On my second day over I sent a postcard.. it arrived two days after I got back and I was there for 2 weeks. LOL

Love the Canary Islands, I enjoyed Tenerife. Enjoy your vacation . I stayed at that same hotel, was nice. I was there in March and it was busy. Try Lazorate , I thought the beaches were nicer, but after the volcano last year I don't know.

Also Mr Carrington….just a quick thing…..you pronounced “canopy” (over a window & should be like ‘canopee’) like “canope” (the food you eat off trays & sounds like canopay). Hope that helps - but I think I’ve heard you say that before…sorry! 🧡💚

Must admit that I either go halfboard or if I am hostelling abroad then breakfast is included and I either cook my own dinner in the hostel at night or I go out. One RU-vidr I follow normally lives on a narrowboat and she had a really rough 2022 and she has taken herself to Bali for a month and is staying in a villa complex and I fell off the chair when she said it was costing her £485 to stay there for a month. I don't know how much her flight cost. Your hotel looks nice but the shouting was offputting. I have been to Gran Canaria but havent visited Tenerife. Did you pack your partner off to the Aquarobics?

Buenas noches, en los hoteles, de las Islas, normalmente se come muy bien, sino, bajaria mucho la calidad. En la Isla de al lado "GRAN CANARIA", también hay buenos hoteles, sitios interesantes que visitar, (fuera de los hoteles)si, se quiere salir, de la "zona de confort" y sobre todo buen clima. 👏🇮🇨

Aww, that looked nice! 😍. My husband and I have been on many holidays like this one…it all feels so familiar 😂. I’ve not made it to Tenerife but have been to Fuerteventura a couple of times - the last time was Christmas 2019 in Fuerteventura. The two things that make the Canary Islands so great is the scenery is just other-worldly and the temperature is so consistent normally. Thanks for taking the time to share this with us. 💚🧡
