Another crazy hiking trail with our daughter in Barranco de Juan Lopez. It`s located in Masca Valley in Los Gigantes area on Tenerife (Canarias islands).
Very easy start, but closer to the ocean it`s almost impassable path. So, second part of this trip was only for me. Definitely will visit this place again.

@@Kirsty-l8v thank you. ... When the last year was a big fire on Tenerife, THEY didn't accept any help from people. Just, blocking the roads (for safety reasons) and waiting for a big help (money) from Madrid 😥

So why didn’t the rescue teams manage this?? Why ropes and dogs not able to get there? This man could and back up and out of it…. Not a man trap clearly

There’s another video of people hiking it with little wee doggies in their hands? I don’t get why they’re saying ropes and specialist gear is needed.? Dogs and people can clearly get up and back down. So sad they lied and didn’t search properly.

@@kimbolea87 yeah, there is a question... For me the biggest "surprise" was that they found the body exactly in the area, where they recognized the last signal of his phone... but 29 day after :-( So, at first, be careful, and don't go to the mountains alone 👆

If he was trying to get a boat ride back to Los Cris or even Los Gigantes why did he not take the well trodden path to Masca beach / jetty instead of the very hazardous route to Playa Juan Lopez where there is no jetty and infrequent boats visiting ?

Ffs how would non local urbanite know about either of the barranco trails, let alone which was easier and had access to a cove with more frequent boats. We are led to believe that in his drug addled brain he just went off the road in the direction of the sea. All of it total rubbish, he was never there.
