We just returned from Las Americas yesterday, we booked a trip up the mountain to see the stars, we booked with Dan at First Tenenerife, they were singing your praises! We had a fantastic week at the Vulcano and drank at lot of beer in the Soul Suite on the Park la Paz strip. No scam artists around just the usual guys trying to sell weed and Charlie! Congratulations on 60k subscribers!!!
I have stayed in the H10 conquistador, it looks nice from the outside and inside at reception, but when you go up to your room, the hall way to the room carpeted and covering broken tiles, as I could feel it under my feet, the rooms could do with a bit of upgrading like some usb sockets would help. ( a simple upgrade, instead of carrying plug convertors. )
I saw this myself - there were two guys standing outside Parque Santiago telling people to go to the shop for special offers on iPads and MacBook laptops. I knew it was a scam.
W saw the ridiculous prices for the canaries and booked two weeks in Cape Verde. £1,000 less for all inclusive than the half board price in Tenerife. The people in Cape Verde were very welcoming and happy to help however they could. Sunshine all day and well worth the extra 30 minutes on the flight.
Thanks for showing us a bit of the place, I’m sitting here in a soaking wet n windy Rhyl so all that sunshine looks very nice. All my mates have been to Tenerife and like it, keep telling me to try it but I’ve never had a holiday (unless you count two weeks in an army camp on the west coast of Scotland 32 years ago near Sterling) as I’ve never had the spare money despite working all my life 😊 never even been in an airport and I’ll be 50 this year! My mate is off to Malta today so just off to see him before he leaves. You sound like your from Glasgow like my mate Duncan, he’s from Parkhead but lives here now in Welsh Wales 😊 he’ll be 87 soon and he’s been my mentor for years, says what he likes when he likes to who he likes which means I’m often jumping in to stop a fight 😅😅
Hi Kevin, We're thinking of heading to Scotland on the 19th of July for my mother's 80th birthday. The Ratpack is on in the Perth Theatre in Mill St. I was wondering what the cheapest cheapest way to get there from Dublin might be. Any taughts on that?
hi, flight to glasgow, taxi to buchanan street bus station takes 15 mins then megabus to perth just over an hour, also train from queen st glasgow bit quicker.
Had the tablet scam in Los cristianos couple of years ago. The shop in question was 1 or 2 from the promenade restaurant. Again was stopped by an Asian man asking if we were interested in apartment in Complex behind the shop. We went in the shop started showing pictures of apartment. Then another guy came over with a tablet asking if I was interested. Told him I had one. Came out with a really cheap price. Told him I didn't have credit card conversation ended then. I walked away.
El medano is the best place to surf, and there is a weed club up the hill a bit in San isidro, I lived in a small fishing 6in Los abrigos, love it but it is all dead now not much tourists now, shame really.
One thing to remember is that Tenerife and the Canary Islands are far safer than places like Benidorm. Benidorm has all the problems of a heavily built up, urbanised place with a lot of crime, muggings and drunken violence due to all the social problems in such a big town. Tenerife and the rest of the Canary Islands have a lot of smaller town resorts which lack the social problems and crime isn’t as big a problem. You don’t have the heaving crowds either in the Canary Islands people are more relaxed and it’s easier to check your surroundings. Do take the suggested precautions in the Canary Islands to avoid crime, but there are far worse places. Enjoy
The video looked like it could have been of interest , pity the narrative was not understandable , get the narrative re done in the English language like the title indicated it was supposed to be ,
