Georgia-Bama used to mean something. Doesn't anymore. Loser is still in the playoffs and probably gets the added benefit of not having to play in SECCG. Absolutely nothing riding on this one.

If you look at both teams remaining schedule, loser is definitively not a guarantee to make the playoff. Possible losses on both schedules.

OU’s defense is good but Heupel’s gameplan and the field surface along with hurt starting OTs played into his decision of running the ball into big boxes. I’m not sure why he was that super ultra conservative but he continued to run the ball into 8-9man boxes as he just wanted to get out of there with a safe win. If he chose, they could have won that by 30+ pts.

Why is simple. His qb is young he handled the atmosphere, road game and ups and downs good. But he's was getting blowed up due to backup ots.h HE KNEW HE COULD WIN and not expose his qb to a beating.

If this was game 2 or 3 of Orji starting i think USC wins. They don't spend the first quarter and a half believing Orji could cone close to a pass more than 5 yards away.

Hey josh, aren't you the one always harping on the difference between rankings and ratings? Well the ap poll is a ranking that rewards on field results, not just how strong they think the team is. Kansas state got blown out by a not good team so they dropped significantly. There are plenty of examples of them rewarding quality losses too much and just being a bad ranking overall, but dropping Kansas state isn't one of them.

This OU team reminds me of that Demeco Ryans Alabama team that had the "honk if you sacked Brody" game. A good potentially great Defense that lacked an offense. If this game doesn't result in a massive rebuild of the offense OU could be in a bad way. I hope for OU's sake this is their wishbone moment. *I'm not suggesting they go to the wishbone.

Someone explain to me without using 'brands' why Tennessee is below Bama, or Ohio State. Also, explain why Mizzou is in the top 15. They are a middle of the road SEC team. Clemson, a #2 ACC team should be higher. Also...Navy and Army both looking good for service acadamies. Go Navy, beat Army.

WARNING TO OREGON. Without a good O line, Ohio State and Michigan will do the same to Oregon that Michigan did to that USC offense. Oregon defense that gave up 290 yards to Boise State is not stopping Michigan or Ohio States running game. Warning to Oregon.

I don't think Tennessee should expect to get into the playoffs. Georgia, Texas, Alabama, Ole Miss are all really strong playoff contenders as well... Somebody's probably going to get left out. I'm sure they'll see that as disappointing season if they don't make it

On Arkansas, I don’t think they have a good defense. It’s ok at best for me. On offense I think Green is so limited throwing the ball but he’s also so extremely scary dangerous running the ball. They have fairly decent receivers, maybe an average or little below avg OL, solid DL, and suspect secondary. I love JJ at RB. He’s such a load.

This is why I always say the Elite-11 is worthless when predicting future success. There was a QB there this year in Longstreet who has a howitzer and looks like a million dollars physically but he has no touch, no anticipation, and doesn’t see the field but yet based off that performance showing off his arm strength, he’s been moved up across all recruiting sites with some giving him a ridiculous 5 ⭐️. 🤦‍♂️ He’s such a flawed QB just like Jackson Arnold.

I dont think hawkins looked that good there was some throws jackson would of made that he missed he just looked good because tn defense was worn out from so many snaps in 100 degree weather and playin on a shitty field and hawkins was fresh thats why he looked good

Tennessee was never wore down, they rotate 6 defensive tackles and defensive ends, they switched to a 4 down prevent instead of their regular 4-3, that's the only reason Hawkins was able to move around, our LBs would've chewed him up
