Sabrina Greenlee, the mother of Tennessee Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, endured cycles of poverty and physical abuse before surviving a brutal acid attack in 2002. Left blind and severely burned, Greenlee shares her powerful story in her memoir "Grant Me Vision: A Journey of Family, Faith, and Forgiveness," with a foreword written by her son.

You know it has to take a lot of strength to be able to accept such a drastic life change! And be the example your children need after such tragedy! She is emotionally strong! I loved that small moment where she reached for DeAndre's hand and he held it.

As a Chaplain and Minister of the gospel, I have never heard such a powerful testimony of "learned" wisdom, grace, and forgiveness. DeAndre, you are an amazing man and son supporting your Mom the way that you do -- even in the midst of your football career. GOD BLESS you Mother Greenlee and your family. In the story, I heard that Sabrina was bullying the other women who was actually with the man, so they other woman was trying to protect herself. That's why I'm so confused why Sabrina is being lifted up in this way., when she is more of a cautionary tale. You play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. Then again, maybe she has learned to leave other women's men alone and not bully others.

Yep! And this woman was not innocent. Sabrina was bullying the other woman who was actually with the man. This woman here was the side chick. I assume Sabrina has learned her lesson with bullying and meddling in other people's lives...you never know what other people's crazy is...she shouldn't have been messing with the girlfriend to begin with, showing up at her home, and threatening her.

This is extremely hard to watch, knowing all the sides to the whole story, she's not telling her part in her own attack, she's not the only victim in this situation, even though what was done to her was truly sad and unfortunate, but she played a huge part in how all of it went down. The lady is a fraud. Not sure where they are located but read the real story the way she harassed that young lady because the guy was seeing them both. He played them both but the blind lady was clearly the aggressor, her and her girlfriends showing up at her house and job repeatedly and the cops did nothing. She was left to defend herself and regrets to this day that she threw that bleach but eventually something was gong to occur because the blind lady being older was acting younger and the younger lady never stopped the guy from coming to her house so the guy played both of them. But sympathy is the last thing I would give this lady Fraud is more like it.

Hopefully she tells the whole story in her book, she was harassing the other young lady over a man. The other lady’s video is on RU-vid as well .. She was defending herself at the time, because she felt threatened, she regrets throwing acid on her, but she walked into her house to fight her. Very sad situation. Definitely one to learn from!!
