This video is designed to show you step-by-step how to build a tennis ball pressurizer solution for 120 balls and cost around $80 to build. I have all the parts you will need and the links to purchase them are below.
I will create a follow-up video to test how well the tennis ball pressurizer solution worked and validate if this solution is either a success or failure.
Please note: you will want to remove the 1/4 nut from the Shrader valve adaptor so you can press it into the MFL 1/4 connector. I used a hammer and gently hit the top of the shrader valve until the two parts connected.
Parts:

I used my iPhone X to video record the whole process.

As the air filters into the balls the pressure in the tank will drop, so for best results you should top off the tank every couple of days. Going over about 25 psi may cause some balls to collapse and they will not be filled, so starting with 25 psi for the first few days and then working up will reduce this problem. If you listen you can hear balls collapsing providing your compressor is not too noisy. If any balls collapse drop the pressure to zero and start over and don't go as high for a few days, then work up. Some brands of balls respond better than others. Occasionally balls left too long at high pressure will become super-bouncers and bounce higher than new balls, but they calm down pretty quickly as they are used.

Hi, first of all, thanks for sharing this knowledge. I'm buying a corn pump to inflate my balls. I have a few questions: * Is there a minimum number of balls to put inside? Or do you need to fully charge the corn pump each time? * I train once a week using around 20 balls. Will it work to maintain ball pressure between trainings?

I am in the process of making my pressuriser. I have received my keg. I have ordered a barbed disconnect. I have a schrader valve off a bicycle tyre. I am going to join the valve to the disconnect with a 5mm wide tube and secure both ends with hose clamps.

you should only add around 12-15 psi, or the ball will be too hard, I usally pump my canister to around 20psi then leave it for 6 weeks or more, some balls take even longer! Depends on the make, usally they re-inflate at the same rate/time it took them to deflate. Nice kit you made.

Since the balls take up a lot of the volume of the keg, and since the pressure in the balls is low at first, I'd have expected the pressure in the keg to drop over time as the compressed air seeped into the balls. It would have been nice to see the pressure in the kegs at the end of two weeks. I'd expect that if there were fewer balls in the keg and/or the keg was left for longer time then the balls might become overinflated.

What is the recommended pressure for keeping/refreshing the (nearly) new balls, i.e. after couple weeks of play? 30-32 is good for repressurizing old balls, but probably too much for the new balls?

Thank you for the lovely video. A quick question: I assume that the old balls have the same pressure as our atmosphere as you placed them inside the kegs. After you initially set the pressure to 30 PSI, did you have to put more air inside the keg later since the keg's internal pressure was reduced by the increase of pressure inside the balls?

Thanks for doing this video!!! Great idea to prevent more junk in the landfill. I am going to build this because we go through 75 balls every 3 weeks. Wondering if you tested this at a higher pressure to see if it takes less time to re-pressurize the balls? So they don't have to sit there for 2 weeks? I hear the commercial unit does the job much faster. I'm not familiar with tolerance of these tanks, valves or seals. I will be soon.
