R.I.C.E first step then 1.Find tender spot | 2. Deep Cross Fiber Massage (5-15min) if starts to feel better after 30sec keep going- if more painful keep Icing | 3. stretch/glide ( 8:46 ) palm flat on table push inside of elbow towards outside (to thumb side) Hope this helps

What I found interesting is that, when my arm was straight out, I could locate the pain spot. But, when I bent the arm slightly, I couldn't. I'm assuming the bend of the arm moves the offending tendon over somewhat. Anyhow, I'll be doing this one. Thanks guys. P.S. Your wife has great taste Brad. Very nice shirt!

Thanks Bob & Brad you guys helped me to recover from TWO calf injuries.( It was injury then reinjury syndrome. )☹ Same leg. Question: any recommendations for aerobic exercises. I'm moving away from my 5-10 miles on elliptical (that's what I got injured on); and decided years ago to move from a treadmill over concerns it might bust out knee caps. Female over 65. Appreciate it. Great videos 🤗

Hello Bob and Brad. So my mom has a stiff arm, she doesn’t know what happened but she can’t move her arm back, outward , or push items. One time I was pulling on her bad arm (forgot she had this problem) and she yelled in pain. This has been happening for a year or two now and we don’t know what it is. She went to a doctor about it and she recommended a physical therapist. Are there any exercises that is suitable for her to follow?

Should you ice after doing the cross fiber rub/massage and the stretch or no ice if there is no pain or just leave it be? Also have had TE for two weeks now, should I be using heat instead of ice when/if I have pain during the day or just do these two things?

Battling my secound round of tennis elbow in 4 years. First time it took a year to fully heal. Second time I am now 6 months into it. Why does it take so long to heal? Should you ice it right after breaking down the muscle fibers like you showed? Thanks for the updated video on this.

Try excluding nightshades from ur diet. "vegetables like potatoes (except sweet potato), tomatoes, eggplant, and peppers. In fact, I also learned that tobacco is a nightshade and negative health consequences from tobacco use have been well-researched. Over the years, different people have suggested that I avoid nightshades due to my rheumatoid arthritis. Some believe that the alkaloids (a type of chemical compound) may aggravate the gut and the stimulate the immune system, causing more pain and inflammation for people living with rheumatoid arthritis. However, the research is not conclusive. " rheumatoidarthritis.net/living/nightshades-dilemma/ Drink Water 2.5-4 Liters a day depending on weight. Will help ur joints. Try rebounding or Tai Chi. Soft movements. Eat a lot of healthy foods or just real food in general, especially salmon nuts yogurt etc fatty foods. Celery Juice even just a 1/4 cup first thing in the day has really helped me. Finally, there is a reason for this coming up in ur life. Likely there are some emotional deep wounds or patterning that you have picked up as you go thru life, just like everyone does :). I know I have some. Some people that really helped me with that are Teal Swan on youtube and is free just look at some of her videos, Stuart Wilde's 33 laws of Infinite Self is amazing and helped me see so much clearer. You can find a free audiobook here on youtube just search for that. You will be ok :), its just good that you look into some things that might be inflaming it. Only saying this bc I have been thru some similar circumstances b4 and I know how awful it feels. Hopefully I have helped some! And hopefully Bob and Brad will give us some of their amazing expertise!

@@sarahg703 is there any diet plan I should follow i already avoided night shades n gluten but still its worsen
@sarahg703
@sarahg703 5 лет назад
@@angelangel3105 I am no expert, but you could follow the oil protein diet or the tom brady diet. Why I suggest these is bc of their anti inflammatory benefits and large veggie and fat content. Dont forget ur probiotics and fermented foods.
@sarahg703
@sarahg703 5 лет назад
@@angelangel3105 Also, again this is from my personal experience, injuries of the hands can indicate that you have over helped others, self sacrificed for others, basically done too much for others and not enough for yourself. This is psychologically and physically. I also found that I needed connection, that I would feel better when I let someone see me in pain and connect with me. I built up emotional walls for years so letting people see me and give me love and care back wasnt "easy". Point is, ask for help from others. Tell them how you are feeling. Let them hear you and validate that is part of you right now and that is ok, you will get better once u start working on the deeper stuff. A lot of times we like to distract ourselves with a great diet or the best exercise program, when really we need a hug and to ask for help without shame, let someone help you for gooodness sakes, and I know what you will say I do I have to already, but you dont really let them in do you? Connect with people, acknowledge them, have them acknowledge you. That is what will heal you, of course in a combo of healthy diet and soft movements. A proper theraputic massagist is also a miracle saver! Even Tai Chi on just the lower body will help as well :) just to get everything flowing. You likely have a lot of lymphatic fluid stuck in your arms and hands. Take Epsom Salt baths as well, they are lifesavers. Make sure to stay hydrated during the bath though, it will dehydrate you so just drink some water :)

For tennis players: Physical therapists should answer this question only together with the professional TENNIS INSTRUCTOR who have ability to teach CORRECT tennis strokes (mechanics). Any pain or discomfort caused by tennis is due to very incorrect, "beginner" or amateur stroke. That stroke is like a tree growing upside down: roots up, crown burried in the ground. Beginners, amateurs "arm it", play with arm and wrist. Most common and most horrible problem is using the Active Wrist to achieve anything in tennis. Rule: from elbow down to your fingertips: this part does not ever actively plays tennis, it only holds the raquet. I want to write more, but my comment will be banned most likely anyway. But I must try once: perhaps someone will see the light. Professionals play tennis only with: 1. Legs, torso (waist) and shoulder-torso structure, shoulders. In professional tennis, arms is just a piece of flexible string which has no musles. MMA fighters call this effect "The Rubber Leg": leg has no musles when it hits your temple but it kills very effectively.
