Sir, thank you for posting this! I was bummed at first, but was please to see that it didn’t take a brain surgeon to replace the batteries. The only thing that you left out of the re-assembly was replacing the carousel at the end. Other than that, you saved me (and a host of others I’m certain)! Thanks again 🎾🤙🏾!
Very helpful video. Thanks for taking the time to make and share it. I'd also add that in order to remove the battery brackets you're going to need to remove the bottom plate. That requires removing two bolts. One from the inside center, and one on the side with the handle.
Hi. May I ask why the machine can work when plugged in with a charger, but has no response when using only the battery? The seller said it's a new replaced battery from last week.
Mine is more advanced that this. I used a 35AH battery and charge it with a battery tender. I installed the plug-in types on the battery, so i can plug it with the battery tender to charge. I also installed the plug-ins in wires, so i can just plug to get power.
i have a tennis tutor model 4. just bought at auction. i have a power cord as well. when i plug the cord in it lights up green. the oscillation and up and down wil raise and lower. but the power button doesn do anything. the machine itself doesnt come on. does it need to have the batteries charged first or can it run while a/c adaptor is plugged in?

I would rather take off the battery from the machine forever, since it is too heavy. I will have the machine connect with an external battery. I don't need to carry the machine to charge. Also I can keep the machine in my car trunk.
I read a post before. I know people successfully changed AC model to battery model and vise verse. Even though i have not tried myself, i guess it is easier in your case if you only want to reduce weight. I think it is easy to carry 42-13=29 pounds (machine without battery) once, and carry a battery 13pounds or 23 pounds once. (i would rather get one big battery such as 22ah or 35AH). I guess that you can just connect the positive terminal and negative terminal from the machine to the battery positive and negative respectively. I would prefer to carry a 29 pounds and a 23 pounds twice in total than carry a 42 pounds once. I have not tried it yet. If it is time to change battery, i would do what i just wrote.
***** i did change my AC model Tennis tutor to battery powered model yesterday. i mean i only use external battery which is a bigger one 35ah weighing 23 pounds. It is much easier to carry my 22 pounds machine and a 23 pounds battery than carrying a 42 pounds machine with battery inside. i have some photos, but i do not how to attach on youtube.
+Stephen Sauer Hello Stephen , I like what you have suggested in keeping the battery separate , were you successfully able to dismantle and then add the external battery as you mentioned , can you please send me pics and instructions please , being a mother of two its becoming very hard to carry the machine into the trunk back and forth, also my battery died so i believe this is the time to make changes. my email is skalties at gmail dot com
Take the batteries out like the video. On the plastic case near the control panel drill a hole big enough for the battery cables to go through. Put the machine back together without the batteries and the wires sticking through the new hole. Just hook up the batteries when ready to use.
