Tenno - Yuki 

The stillness of this place was almost absolute, as though the ice had frozen the world itself into this singular, unmoving moment in time. Only the gentle whistling of the wind through the great stone spires dared disturb it. The wind, and the ronin who stepped carefully along the snow covered earth. He moved gently, with the sure-footed step of an experienced wanderer and the grace of a practiced warrior as well, his movements leaving only the barest trace of his passing through the deep valleys of these grand stone towers. Though other travelers had come near this place, they had avoided passing through these canyons, for the haunting sound of the wind was both ever-present and unsettling to most. Tenno was here specifically for this place. Stories he had heard from the last village he had stopped at spoke of a place they called the Snowcall Valley, a place where winter itself sang a mournful song to the sky, the near eternal wind drawing up the endless cry. As the young ronin walked, he stepped as gently as he could through the snow specifically to avoid the sound of his footsteps disturbing the winter's choir, a hand resting on the sugegasa he wore to keep the chill winds from snatching it away. The stories did not do the place its due justice. The way the wind whistled through the many gaps in the stone, the various cracks and crevasses in each spire seemed to make every tower sing its own tune. Amidst the soft and endless gray of the sky, it created a view that was both sad yet beautiful. A deeply moving sight and sound that was ever changing as he moved nearer to one spire and away from the last. For Tenno, this place was like walking amongst giants, all singing a mournful song that connected to the chill of the lands they called home. The ronin's heart swelled with the haunting beauty of the song of this place, and he smiled as he continued on his journey. Tucking his head a little against the oncoming wind and holding the sugegasa a little more firmly to his head. His other hand gently rested upon his chest, where his flute was nestled away safely beneath the cloth. Nature itself had sung to him in this place. He would be certain that the song he crafted from its inspiration would honor it in the way that no mere stories could. First things first, I am back! I was out of commission there for a while and shockingly missed writing a story for the last song for, what, nearly a week? But, i'm back to 100% at last. Secondly, this song may have dropped early, but for me it was right on time. I've been hard at work recently with long days and few breaks, and this came in and hit my mood just right. I cannot thank you enough for the creation of these incredible songs. Every one just taps into a mood so well, and i'm always inspired to write a story when i listen to them. Maybe one day i'll go back and gather all of them up, connect the tales i'd written and turn them into an epic story. There are still so many songs that were before i discovered you that i could write about too. Maybe when i have a bit more time. But i just want to say, thank you. from the bottom of my heart. Your music is an inspiration. You are absolutely amazing, so never stop creating these wonderful songs. Your music is a true gift to the world my friend. Take care, and may your holidays be bright!

Great track! Perfect for the cold season, it truly feels like staying out whilst there is a snowfall outside. It's very mysterious and more minimalistic than previous tracks, imo, but I don't find it a bad trait :) Happy holidays, Tenno and everyone!
