I really enjoyed my plays of Tenpenny parks. It does hits that perfect spot for me of not quite being mid-weight but still having enough depth to sink my teeth into, similar to how I feel about games like Wingspan. My only issue with the game is that it has a lot of components and it's a lot to set up in comparison to the game you get out of it. The ratio there leans to much toward set-up time which is why I've not added it to my collection. Some of my favorite gateway games are ones that are a bit easier to get to the table like Parks, Cascadia, and Space Base.
