An original composition made for a special friend. The main theme here is the reflection of the characteristics of my friend. Musesound was used in the playback. Official Audio: / czfn9 Sheet Music: mymusic.st/ia/123033
Really beautiful and emotional piece with colorful but appropriate orchestration. It builds so nicely with many surprises for the ear along the way. It’s also very “hooky” with that great main theme that I was whistling after hearing it once. Will listen again. Nice work! MuseScore 4 really sounds great on this.
When I came up with main theme, I was just outside my home and was just whistling randomly until I came with that melody and I thought it was great and I immediately opened musescore to notate it so that I won't forget that melody. That's the short story about it haha. Thank you for your feedback!
I just got done downloading the new MuseScore 4 stuff, and now I have this to live up to haha! This is extremely well done, that theme is so catchy. Great work!
Beautiful composition, very good orchestration, it seems to be that the MusScore 4 will be in the future the best notation software, I've heard some pentathonic scale in the main melody , some oriental music with western orchestration. Congratulations
Dude! I've recently been working on some compositions myself after the Musescore 4 update and it sounds absolutely incredible compared to the chainsaw sounds of MS Basic. I love your piece. Calming, emotional, dramatic and uplifting! Really well done, cheers.
Such a really beautiful piece! Very well done🎉 The Muse Sounds really enhance this and bring it to life! I can’t wait to post more of my own usin g ms4.
This is an absolutely amazing piece! I'm making my own piece right now and this is good inspiration! What instruments did you use in this piece, the composition came together really nice!
There is no longer a need to add intermediate tempos for a slow down, when you can adjust the rit. magnitude percentage in its playback setting and if there are people playing, the horn slurs do not need to be the same as string bowings, if the pickup is part of the slur, the leap allows a small overtone gliss which sounds good on brass instruments
yeah i just discovered about the changing the playback for rit. after i finished this composition. And about your other comment, I am not really sure what you mean, I am not really good at orchestrating. Nonetheless, thank you for the feedback!
@@i.apiladoat the beginning when the horn is plaything the same them as the violins. They are suggesting to make the horn slurs different from the string slurs. They want you to include the eighth note pick ups in the slur for the horn part. large interval jumps like those can sound good on horn when it’s slurred. Although too much can be hard for the player. It’s only relevant is played by actual musicians and even then it doesn’t make too much of a difference. A horn player is gonna make it sound nice no matter how the slur is notated.
VERY NICE! With the main melody, try experimenting with the rythms a bit more? And on page four the woodwinds part isn’t very friendly. Remember they have to breath😅 Nice job and happy composing🎉
I absolutely love you’re orchestration in here, but I do have one suggestion that’s not gonna change the sound in MuseScore. Using C Trumpets is standard in orchestral music, and is a bit easier to play since brass instruments generally don’t like sharps. I don’t know if you ever plan to get this performed (you should, it sounds lovely), but if you do your trumpets would prefer C parts. :)
I will surely take your consideration. I am planning to reorchestrate all of my works so that when time comes I have the opportunity for my works to be performed, it will be appropriate. But of course, it's expensive to hire an orchestra xD. I hope soon my work will be performed by an orchestra and that will be a life fulfilling dream
Man this is the stuff that inspires me to write music, even if I can't come up with anything good XD. If I can ask was there anything particular inspiration for this piece?
i am not particularly sure what the inspiration for this piece is, but I often listen to Tchaikovsky's work, especially the symphonies(1,4,5, & 6). Or maybe from film music as well like from John Williams works I wish I can listen to your work as well
hey that sounds really wonderful, well done! Is it possible somehow that you share your musescore file with me? I would love to figure some details out and just learn from you and this wonderful sound you have created (I'm still quite the beginner myself)
i think you really need to expose yourself to a kind of music you really like, in my case, my exposure to film and classical music was since i was 10(i think). And with that exposure it gives me how the type of music works and will eventually gives you an idea what you wanna compose. Ofcourse, you also need to learn music theory, but not so deeply, it depends on you, because it will be useful if you really have a favorite composer or their piece and you want to study their music, you can only find that through the scores, having a knowledge in music theory will give you idea how their music works. And with that i think you can start
How do you reduce the score when other parts aren't playing> I like to orchestrate for full symphony orchestra, and you tend to fill out a lot of pages very quickly lol. Answer would be much appreciated, thanks :)
I am very interested in this topic "Tenshi". I am "Clarinet" in a Music Band and this composition suits us very well. I request your file from Muscore and I will adapt it to my band. In exchange, I'll improve the sounds and mastering and send it to you. You can see my compositions on my channel. I'm sure you'll like them.
