sound is amazing and even with the wind blowing hard the sound is fantastic amazing. Most sounds with wind and sum mics you cant hear anything rather with you and Adam i hear u 2 laughing i love the mic you have clear and beautiful .Love your videos friend.

Great video Dan, if you hold the meal pouch on its side and cut open the side ,you get a shallower pouch with a larger top opening.

Thanks for the video. Beautiful part of the world. I have seen people roll the new packets along the long side to fit in the cooker and also cut the pack along the long side to eat it. Apparently you don’t need a long handled spoon. Cheers.

New Go Pro, excellent. Audio and stability, top notch. I like it when you go camping with a mate. Alone, but not alone. Probably, in my head, safety in numbers and all that. Not that there was anything scary, just curious sheep. Tent looks very spacious. I think TOGR (The Outdoor Gear Review) has one of those wind things you mentioned. That was a real work out, hiking to the top of that fell, with a backpack on. Right, I'll get back to my comfy armchair. LOL Take care. 😊

Ah Routenbeck! My brother lives there. We always go when it's snowy the sledging is fab! Just across Bassenthwaite is Skidaw I'm sure you could see it from where you were. Maybe you could go there next time, instead of pitching up and sitting around in the tents saying oh it's to early to go to sleep like you were bored, maybe the long drive tired you out? Just my thoughts it isn't cheap and a real treat to drive for 2 and a half hours and not take full advantage. Dan love your vids but here's my view on those ready to eat meals...or more main portions.. Get a Billy pot ..turf them out into it add water...make a soup...your getting a meal plus water . So a bit of hydration as well. . I ve done this with army more...

I can empathize with you walking up that hill. Just been to Dunnottar Castle in Scotland. A brilliant place to visit. Walking back out was very hard work for me. That pride of sheep looked seriously menacing😁. Great scenery and video.

Why don’t you prepared your food before you go and put them in foil packs, it’s must be much cheaper, foil packs are recyclable too. What’s cheap tin of beans plus 3 rashes of bacon and couple of sausages?
