Le drapeau ACADIEN on the Frontenac Castle ! Part of the Canadian province Québec's mosaic, aside Teo's splace :D under F*** Cars !!! The Bonhomme Carnaval, René Lévesque (who hit an homeless man while DUI while being prime minister)... and other folklore of Québec. (read : the Japan-Québec link, Godzilla, in the picture... whereas we had tons of anime in the 70s/80s/90s translated to french in québec. Le Petit Castor, Démétan, Les Aventuriers de l'espace, Le nom de la Rose (sous le signe des mousquetaires)/the musketeers, Goldorak, Astroboy, Akira in 1993 on VHS, dragon ball in 1993-94 in manga, DBZ started around 1996-97 (tome 17-19 start dragon ball Z in the manga). Sailor moon on tv in 1995 too. Appleseed mangas, 3x3 Eyes (influence of F.M. Alchemist). We had Ninja Scroll (oav), Wicked City, so much sino-japanese culture in the 70s-80s means godzilla was meant to be part of the mosaic of Québec in r/place
i was working to keep the yellow star on the acadian flag, the one that is identical to the france flag, but with a star in the blue. That is ACADIE, the acadian people were deported from the new brunswick-nova scotia-usa coastal regions centuries ago and were sent to new orleans louisianna became the cajuns (J'suis acadien, became to english ears : j'suis un CAJUN)
@@PrettyGazi Shouldn't an social media be where you are most careful about how you write since people are most likely to misinterpret your words in bad faith?
By bringing people you mean… against France right ? (By the way Spanish streamers lost their dignity in this war and french people proved another time that they are unbeatable on the internet)
I loved the part where Soda was checking your area for bots, and all the names that he found looked like non-bot names. It was like he just processed that it'd be okay to take from bots, but with so many people genuinely participating, he didn't want to take away from the community.
I almost cried at the end. There were so many wholesome moments and it was incredible to see so many different communities able to live almost peacefully together. The timelapse at the end was the cherry on top. A piece of history, can't wait to come back in 5 years
I am glad that I was able to participate in this and I was so happy that we were able to get to the end, when they started to go all white I felt really sad seeing how all of our hard work being deleted but also happy at the same time as everything is ending in such a glorious way. Hope that this will come back and we will build up and defend Teos Game once more
Sad that it's over but happy that it happened :') Such a fun and wholesome experience and I feel oddly proud of Teo for ending strong on the final canvas
It reminds me of a practice done by Tibetan Buddhist monks where they will craft beautiful and intricate sand mandalas over the course of weeks. Then, at the end they will dismantle it to remind themselves and others around them of the impermanence of life and that we should enjoy what we have now. Really cool practice(:
I'm so glad I was able to be part of this. Even happier that this community's work survived until the very end. Teo's made a forever mark on the internet.
Wild to think so much was happening all at the same time. I didn't even realize Teo was streaming during the white out. And I just happened to be on the other side of the board looking at the art people had made. r/place really puts the world in perspective, and that's pretty cool
Honestly the place thing is one of the coolest things I've ever seen the internet as a whole get together and do. I love that we got a 30 minute Teo video out of it :D
Man what a journey, im really happy i was part of it, as helping teo and my people in the 3 Mexico flags, but i started first with teo, amazing job guys, great video too, a complete experience
This was very fun, and incredibly interesting. I'm so glad I got to be a part of this. I love this community! That time lapse at the end with the outro was absolutely beautiful.
Absolutely loved r/place with our community! Everyone was so nice and it was so much fun to defend our land. I had an amazing time and I think that lots of others that were always hanging around on Twitch chat will stay around on Discord bc of making friends. Love this community man! I'm happy that we were there and that we held our ground until the end.
It was fun helping on this. Very engaging. It has been very strange to follow Teo since he had under 10k subs on youtube till today where he has gotten a large audience across multiple channels. He is truly a gift for the internet that just keeps on giving. He brings so much joy and seem to have the same mentality since the beginning. Just have fun! And let us not forget the people around him that helps making everyones day that little bit better when hearing them laugh and having fun :-) Much love
Idk why but this along with the walking fred series is one of my favourite teo videos. I think having teo and the community come together and represent who they are, all in 30 mins with the usual shenanigans was super wholesome! Super funny and entertaining as always. Have a chill day everyone :D
My favourite thing was all the streamers saying "Oh why are people getting so emotional over pixels" Like Bitch your entire career is about getting emotional over pixels.
I’ve watched you on RU-vid for years because I’ve never been able to catch your streams. This is one that I truly regret not seeing. You have such an amazing community and just great content. I’ll be sure to start tuning into your streams now so I won’t miss amazing things like this again
wow one of the best place stories out there, didn't just have a template that never changed, but made your place dynamic and open to other communities.
this was by far one of the dopest events online i been a part of. it really goes to show you how many communities are out there. im so glad i was here to be a part of it. we have such a wonderful community btw
Hey teo, I’ve been watching your RU-vid and streams since middle school, I’m an adult with two kids and in the army. Honestly you and everyone involved has helped me through so much in this world, I would get so excited when I saw a video up and grab something to eat and watch it. Thank you, so much for everything and for everything that will come. Much love, and I will see you on your next stream I can catch.
The timelapse at the end, together with the outro song brought me to tears. I don't know why. What a beautiful community you had built here. Just so you know Teo, you are the one and only gaming Twitch streamer and youtuber that I watched and follow daily. All of your videos I've seen it multiple times and I laugh just like the first time I watched it. Keep up what you are doing 👍
Helping this and other communities was a lot of fun. It was just placing a pixel every five minutes, but it was really cool to see the amazing art that came out of it.
Honestly this video was amazing ! I think r/place is such an amazing thing and I love just how different communities interact with one another. Well done Teo and the community. :)
This was such a lovely video to watch and such a nice thing to see happening live, v glad you found an empty spot and held it rather than trashing on someone else's community
I was a part of this community and the other group of streamers to the right and my favorite part was both of you interacting. It's crazy to see communities interact and this was such a fun experience! good job everyone :D
How crazy is it that after all this time, the outro music is actually playing over that cool timelapse at the end. Its like it was meant to be all this time. Much love Teo
ngl... its really emotional for this wild ride.... we gt the plot twist, the happy alliance, the betrayal, the epic journey. Really love those interesting community also. Awesome.
It’s so amazing to see communities come together to form beautiful things. It’s wonderful to see what we can do together as humans. Being in this community has helped my life through and through dark times for the past 5 years and I wonder what we can do next as a community! Cheers everyone!
This was so much fun to watch go down, I was part of many of the communities in this but yours is probably my favorite :), thank you Teo for all the laughs and smiles you've given us throughout the years!!
Love how so many communities that you'd never expect intersect in r/place. And right away Teo finds Anbennar of all communities to attempt an invasion of.
This was such a blast joining you on this adventure, I stayed up way too long the first night trying to defend this from random pixels being placed :p .
I didn't get to follow the last half of your r/place stuff live, but saw the firetruck thing cropped on reddit. amusing to see it was our community all along
Unfortunately i don't use reddit enough to see r/place and when i did look at it, it was too early to add to teo's mark. But watching this has been one of the most genuine moments of wholesomeness i've seen in my life. teo cares so much about his community and we all took pride in that using the pixels to create and protect to the end
sorry i couldn't be a part of this journey as i had this exam today for which I've been studying for the past year but god, i love this community and everyone's dedication and creativity... it's nice to be a part of something great and teo you've built this priceless space for all us. i don't know how to thank you enough for making me smile, laugh and cry over these beautiful 6 years... Thank You Teo ❤️
26:46 was my comment lmao so happy it made it in. thanks :) Edit: also, it was a joke, I was being dismissive on purpose, I love Sammy and Flash equally
