This is a great noodle soup to make at home, fresh, healthy, full of flavour and so easy to make.
This is our recipe for Teochew flat rice noodle soup also known as Kway Teow soup in South East Asia.

Simple tutorial with Chef Pi Tou showing us how to cook and prepare the various ingredients for Teochew flat rice noodle soup from start to finish.
Here's the recipe for this noodle soup:
200g Chicken breast
6/7 Cloves of garlic
100g Pad thai 3mm rice noodles
4 Tbsp Light soy sauce
1/1.5 tsp rock sugar
1 Tbsp Maggi sauce
1 Celery stalk
1 tsp Whole black pepper
20g Coriander stems (roots are better but more difficult to find)
1 Bulb of preserved garlic
3 Tbsp preserved garlic vinegar
1 Tbsp fried garlic oil
10g Chopped spring onion and coriander for decoration
A handful of beansprouts
2 litres of water

As with all Asian cooking this is a rough guide with regards to amounts, adjust for your own taste and spice tolerance.
If you want to make it spicier then toast birds eye chillies instead of large sweet chilli.
