These are business people who get punched in the face for a living-something you and I know nothing about. Instead of claiming a boxer is scared, why not use a fraction of your cognitive energy to ask who stands to gain more from a fight? Certainly, it’s not Bud from a business perspective. Bud is too expensive for Boots, and that’s precisely what the “who has he fought” narrative is conveying to the slow learners. Bud is at the point where he’s making a killing for his work. He has, what, eight kids? Seven? And he’s in his late 30s. The man must make his money, not focus on making armchair critics and RU-vid commenters happy. In response to Teo, we criticize boxers for demanding crazy money for a fight, because we see Dana white making the best fight the best for $300k. I can't say ALL, but MOST of the " top dogs" / super stars in UFC are getting a $330k check for their PPV fights, and the young pups in boxing want 6 trillion, Gucci slippers, 3 prostitutes, a G wagon and a Lexus Helicopter to sign a contract. Fighters not named Canelo should fight once a season and drop the pay down to $300k like Dana White.

Eddie Hearn said that the reason Teo really isn't in any of the top fight discussions is because he prices himself out. He will ask for some unreasonable amount and just say that's his number. He can only basically fight Top Rank fighters, because no other promoter can come to terms with him. So nobody has him on their to do lists, because it most likely ain't happening. Teo is a lost cause, and even if he left Top Rank he's too delusional to care about. He's worse than Keith Thurman. Teo an Pitbull Cruz should be a fight they look to make, but I guarantee Teo will call him a bum and say no to that. Yet, fighting Claggett is okay.
