It’s bc he got humbled by kambosos and almost got beaten by Sandor Martin, leading to questioning himself if he still has it. Teo is still young, which means he has the mental capability to learn from his mistakes and be better not only as a boxer but a man as well. This is why these top fighters to to test themselves, take risks, fight the best, and lose every once in awhile. That’s what boxing was all about back then. There’s too many spoon fed, protected, and prideful boxers in this generation that leads to delusional arrogance. A lot of these kids already think they’re the best without even fighting the best 🤦‍♂️ Shakur, Haney, and even Tank are perfect examples of that. Haney finally got his ass beat, and now he is going through the humbling process. Just like Teo, Teo went through the stages. Got beat, came out with excuses, went through the denial process, made it through the acceptance stage, learned to move on, then finally grew up a little bit coming back stronger. Haney needs to complete the rest of the stages. Trash the denial, humble himself, make it to acceptance, move on, grow up, and come back stronger. It’s sad though bc Haney seems to be taking his ass beating a lot harder, taking it to desperate lengths by still creating the “cheating” accusation narrative, writing a fucking letter to the commission in attempt to replace his L with a W that he did not come close to earning, and vomiting on social media to try and slander Ryan’s name instead of being a true professional. It’s making him look horrible because he has the biggest drug cheater on his team that is know for creating “legal” supplements that contain UNTRACEABLE ILLEGAL substances in them (victor Conte) a man that has been banned from multiple sports, plus he fully supported Alicia Baumgardner when she went through the same thing Ryan is but WORSE. Alicia popped for TWO banned substances and they were worse than Ostrine. She didn’t even do a hair follicle test either, she just sent in her contaminated supplements and they CLEARED HER COMPLETELY so she kept her WIN AND BELT. It is obviously fishy and makes no sense. Ryan will end up getting justice and that will come close to destroying Haney and his father for their premature false cheating accusations which will lead to a defamation lawsuit. Its stupid of them and pathetic. I really thought Haney was better than that but he isn’t. He should have waited for the legal process to play out, and after realizing it was unintentional consumption of contaminated supplements, he should have gone for the rematch like a true champ would. But both them and his fanboys know why they won’t rematch, bc they KNOW the truth and KNOW that it will be the same outcome.

Teo been like this honestly he’s one of the coolest most down to earth interviews in boxing. Teo best advice is never watch boxing with the commentary on.
