Avsak povodne zvuky som odstranil a nahradil novymi.
I’m so happy that you know it didn’t actually put holes in the ship when it hit the iceberg, it actually bent and broke nails allowing the water to flow in. Awesome!

"Pick up, you bastards!" "Is there anyone there!?" "Yes, what do you see?" "Iceberg right ahead!" "Thank you. Iceberg right ahead." "Hard to starboard!" "Full astern!" "Hard to port!" "Is it hard over!?" "It is, yes sir, hard over!" "Come on, come on. Turn, turn. Yes, that's it." "It's gonna hit!"

@@cyanidezz when the ship broke loads of hull plating was torn off the sides, it exposed multiple compartments to the seawater hence why it sank to quickly
My dad saw A Night to Remember tears ago before I was around. This year I saw it for the first time and I'm planning to get it on DVD. And it's remastered in HD.
Neporovnavaj smrt vojakov a smrt civilistov. Ked uz, radsej Wilhelm Gustloff, 1945, najvacsia namorna katastrofa v dejinach. 9000 mrtvych utecencov. Sovietske torpedo.
Bolo uplne minimum obeti.
missier Amit It costed $3 million to build from 1909-1912. Convert that amount of money to today's currency, plus 10 extra lifeboats and today's technology. That is how much it will cost.
Several reasons. First, her hull structure was critically weakened by the break up at the end. The jagged, open front part of the rear half had no lateral support when it impacted the bottom and the keel, the main "back bone" of a ship, was torn no doubt from several supports within the rear section. The back half of the front section is just as jacked up. Again, no structural support. Secondly, the rear section housed the engine room which was cavernous compared to the other compartments and therefore had the least structural strength. There is a theory that Titanic, when she struck the berg, partially grounded herself on the berg, causing a torquing motion within the physical structure, popping hull rivets along the side. This would have weakened the hull structure somewhat. It hasn't gained a lot of ground but there is some evidence to support it, especially given the impact dynamics and the break up point. Lastly, the front glided to the bottom at more of an angle than the stern, which simply spiraled down and struck, largely flat. Much like a very painful belly flop off the diving board. The section also imploded on the way down (the rear compartments were likely still tight), causing further collapse of the internal structure. The front section would have been full of water already and spared the implosion. A ship's hull is meant to move through the water...not impact the bottom flat.
fun fact: did you know one of the testimonies in 2:21 said the titanic broke between the 3rd and 4th funnel bc the 3rd funnel fell during the splitting edit:WHY IS IT IN THE TOP OF THE CHATS SRSLY
